    Team news:

Pereyra and Penaranda are both fit and in contention. Holebas, Cleverley, Quina and Prodl are all out (Jose and Tom should be back in training this week).

Any team that concedes 3 against Newcastle should be ripe for a hammering. Bobby's back, Deulofeu's on fire, Hughes is playing like Iniesta and Xavi's lovechild, and I think we'll put 3 past them as well.

    Watford 3 - 4 Southampton

Must win to secure 7th, unless we loose in which case Saturday against wolves is must win (but they have turned a bit iffy so should be ok)

Shame we don’t have a few more games left as Man U seem to have collapsed again so we could have caught them for 6th

Would play the same team but obviously bring anybody including the mascot on instead of Issac (refuse to refer to him as success) as a substitute, not sure if I’m being harsh was watching on TV and only time I could see Isaac was when he slowly sauntered in or out of the picture.

Need to improve goal difference so 3:0 to us

If Panda is fit again, I’d like to think he might get the nod for a place on the bench. I think we’ve all seen in recent weeks that Success isn’t offering much, so it would be interesting to see whether Adalberto could make a more positive impact later in games. Though I suppose Javi would like a bigger presence up there if things aren’t working with Geri and Gray, which probably means Success is safe until Troy comes back.

The Saints had been on good form before their game against Newcastle at the weekend, will be a tough game as they are fighting to stay up but if they play anything like they did against Newcastle we should have more than enough up front to beat them. Hopefully we will be a little bit more refreshed than them as we didn't really need to get out of second gear in Huddersfield at the weekend.

Start him. Never bring an injured bloke off the bench, because if he hurts himself again you've burned 2 subs. Play him until he gets tired, then bring on Gray.

Same team vs Hudders for me with Pendz coming on for Success. Actually Emma Saunders showed for passion for the shirt than Issac on 606 so give her a run out with Gray.

Speaking of Gray, is his purple patch over? Probably not, but he must be itching to score again. Realy hope Masina can replicate his impressive form of late and Douc's is looking good too.

We all know how fantastic Delafoo is so no need to comment there apart from a good performance. We were awful at St Mary's earlier this season on a cold wet afternoon and scraped a point with Mr Park Life having a right rant.

    2-0

Yeah she did. She defended the club against Robbie Savages usual drivel about us being *****, and also full heartedly admited she was a super fan and reckons we will beat Citee in the final.

Emma now has extensive media experience & has been to a World Cup with England.

If Sky/BT are looking for a badge beating Watford pundit, maybe she is now easing past the other candidate.

Looking forward to her doing a Delia at halftime tomorrow.

    My heart is bursting.

Btw, did she say whether the prematch Guess the Player quiz is fixed?

You see this blurry outline for 3 secs, the kid says Capoue & walks off with a signed shirt.

Collusion between Ms Saunders, eBay & assorted local youth?

I have no idea on that one. But I very much doubt she is in Cahoots with any tampering of pre matcb rules. Maybe Slither sends an anon Email to the club demandibg a fix or he threatens to return as Gracia's No 2?

The last time we beat Southampton at home was 7th September 2007!! …..and that was only when we came back from 2-1 down to score two late goals, and the winner was in the 90th minute from Darius Henderson.

Since then it's been 3 draws and 2 defeats, so it's high time we beat them.

All being equal, we should have enough to win a tight game, but with the self-imposed absence of Deeney, and question marks over the fitness of Pereyra and Holebas, it will be a tough game that could go either way if I'm honest.

Not sure Gracia's comments that we need the points more than them is correct. Both camps will want the points as much as each other, as is always the case. They are still not safe and I know if we were on only 36 points at this stage of the season, we'd be looking for another 4/5 points from their final 4 games for sure. Realistically a win will all but make them safe though, and they'll be going for it.

But if we win this, it will set us up nicely for Saturday's match with Wolves. If we are to finish 7th, there are no short-cuts. We've got to win these games. If we don't manage it, then we were just not good enough in the end, but it's still be a wonderful season. We've taken more points from teams outside of the top 6 then anyone else this season. That in itself represents a fantastic season. Win the next two and I will think that will be enough for us to qualify for European football next season.

I have to admit I was stunned how poor Manure were at Everton. Shame its drafted Silva in now with a battle for Europe contention.

Yes he did. People are going over the top. he's pretty poor, and disappointing because he seemed to show so much unrefined early promise. Best to replace him in the close season with someone better, which shouldn't be too difficult, but let's not over-state the case.
