Austin is a bit different, certainly when compared to H-Town. A little manufactured and insincere though, and they make a bit too much effort to be different. Worth a visit, with decent options for food and other festivities. Much nicer than the industrial wasteland I call home.

I do like the hill country. A little more peaceful, without being too remote. Wouldn’t be against retiring out there once my business in Houston is done.

I bet Google took you through 10 pages of filmed examples before your ‘research’ came across the website with that information!

I have been plagued for months by a breast enlargement ad at the top of the forum page.

Heaven knows what the algorithm is playing at as a man of my age doesn’t benefit from breast enlargement.

I suppose I’ll now have months of penis enlargement to contend with.

No wonder Deeney speaks out so much - its about the only time we really get any coverage!

    Double edged sword.

Having said that unless your a top team usually clubs get spoken about most when they are in trouble like Fulham and Everton so maybe its a good thing we haven't got a lot of attention.

They claim the ads you see are commensurate with your internet searches, so just unbookmark Ginsters and everything will be fine. As for RD,...

Well,I did think of having a veggie pie yesterday as there were no cheese rolls at WH,but that was as much as I've thought about pies or searched!
In truth I often get Vine House Farm pop up!

Don't worry, come August they will predict us to finish 18th next season because we change our managers too much and there's no stability.

Genuine question - not having a go or trying to rile you - why does our coverage (or lack of) and credit given (or not) on MOTD bother you so much? It's not rocket science - we're not one of the "big clubs"; with our slightly controversial (like it or not, it is) ownership set up we lack the perceived "romance" of some of the other smaller clubs; we're not one of the clubs likely to be in a relegation battle. There's no obvious "story" or "hook" with us this season, other than we're doing a darn sight better than most pundits expected. So, unless we're involved in a particularly exciting goal-fest or provide an upset against one of the top clubs, we're never likely to top the bill on MOTD. I don't think anyone would claim that either of our last two games have been the most attractive football spectacles would they? The only thing that would have surprised me re their MOTD coverage would have been if they hadn't been put on towards the end. And while I agree that all evidence suggests Lineker doesn't think that fondly of us, who the **** cares? All evidence also suggests that Lineker is a **** of the highest order so I am rather pleased he doesn't like us.

I am not bothered about the lack of coverage. What is annoying is when the game we are involved is being discussed the focus is invariably on the other team and when we are discussed pundits run out of things to say about us after a few seconds.

Could easily be the case, but was it not GT that gave Shearer his debut? And I said Ian Wright gives us the most credit but I think that’s maybe Troys upbringing as a semi pro builder and coming up through the ranks as he did. Also playing for the likes of crystal palace and Burnley so he knows what it’s like out of the big six.

  14. Bloody love that pitchside interview with Javi after the game.

Really humanised him more and magnified what a lovely guy he is, and showed what a good grasp he has on the game.

Those post match awkward interviews are never great but he came across really well.

    I think I love him.

  16. Talked a bit about tactics, defending a high line as they were good at picking up the second balls, about squad rotation as was asked about it but generally just very aloof and humble about it all.

And deemed a bit embarrassed when one of the guys praised him.

Just seemed like a really genuine honest and humble guy.

So refreshing for our manager to be a solid, genuine guy as opposed to the teenage rentagobs like Klopp & Guardiola.

    Last on MOTD again ..

They showed as much of our efforts as QPR's..

Alex Scott almost called us Millwall!

Probably will be next week as we play on the Friday night unless it's a high scoring game !

I predict if we got to the FA Cup final, and we were not playing either City, United or Chelsea, then the BBC wouldn't even televise it.

In this situation the FA would probably cancel the final.

Either that or they’d move the game to King George V playing fields using the excuse that they’d double booked Wembley for the national tiddly winks play off.

I'm fairly sure that when there has been a game on a Friday night MOTD normally show it first on their Saturday night show, strange how our game was last AGAIN!!!

Well whatever the final is surely won't be as boring and uneventful as last year's blockbuster final...

Or the Chelsea v Man U final in 2007 or Man U v Arsenal in 2005...

The media and FA might want a top 6 final but it doesn't mean excitement!

    Are we still in it?

I know this is going to be controversial I don't have a problem with Lady commentators as the ones that have made it to the top seem very good, however, am I the only one that finds it odd that they have ladies in the studios as experts on men's football, they have never played at that level so what qualifies them to be there! Keep them playing the Lineker role on the left hand side of the table!

I do get your point, but Alex Scott is exceptional. She's opened the door to women's punditry as far as I'm concerned. There is only really Sue Smith that does a stint on SSN that I've seen. I've not seen too many other women pundits to be honest. I'd like to see Kelly Smith given a chance, if she was interested in doing it of course. At least Watford would get a good appraisal from her.

I'd pick Alex Scott over virtually every male counterpart. What insight do male ex-footballers bring? Virtually nothing apart from the obvious. They've all got their pet clubs and they tend to have no interest or knowledge outside of those clubs. Only Gary Neville does a good job at being impartial and does at least appear to have an interest in other clubs apart from United. He's in the minority though. Most of the others are extremely patronising and irritating.

It would be like having a woman doing punditry on mens boxing. A 70 year old Mike Tyson would batter you in your prime luv.

Jokes aside, I like Alex Scott. She actually knows her stuff and she's a thousand times better than that **** Paul Ince.
