That’s a bit harsh. Watford are a bit crap right now, but I don’t think they’d lose to just one player.

I'm unable to make the game today as I have caught this bloody bug going around. Taking advice and staying in bed for the next few days to recover.

Seeing Watson in the starting line-up, with the only other midfielder on the bench being Pereyra, shows how weak our squad is when you take into account the injuries.

 

On me way last week I left too early and had too much time to kill this week left hour later and train took ages to arrive

 

Second week in a row we’ve dropped a striker who scored in the previous match!

What happened to Femenia?! Where is Hughes? Kaboul? Cathcart?

It’s just an absolute joke. 14 days into the transfer window and Ben Watson is starting a Premier League game for us.

Good to see that Lemina and Gabbiadini can't play against us due to being so heavily linked on the forum that it's like we're their parent club.

Also great to see Silva keeping up the "score and I'll drop you" vibe:

Quickest player on the bench is Mariappa.

 

Here's a theory for you. Maybe Gray was cupping his ears at Silva after scoring but his accuracy is so ***** he aimed it at the Watford fans?

 

It’s getting boring now. Moan after if needed, not before.

Probably best they take the lead to avoid the otherwise inevitable late collapse anyway. It’s nice to lose in slightly different ways, keeps it interesting.

 

Silva should have been fired 2 weeks ago, the cup game and the no hope city game was a 2 week opportunity wasted

 

We have the ability to look great, but more often we look poor. Can’t see us getting anything from this.

All this I'll moan when I want, I'll boo who I want, etc. Yeah you have the freedom to do that. We also have the freedom to call you a moron for doing so.

 

This isn't Silva's fault completely. I don't believe at this moment in time that this bunch of players would play for any manager. Something is rotting at the core of this club. Sack Silva, another manager may keep us up - but the same would happen within twelve months. It's time to attack the issue at source, whatever it may be. I suspect we have a four-tiered system.

1. Board
2. Manager
3. Captain
4. Squad

And the level of disconnect between those tiers is alarming. There's no fight at all.
