Yes...it was so. I hope this cheating **** finally gets what has been coming to him for years. That will take the inane grin off his face. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/wilfried-zaha-dived-earn-penalty-11776472
I have to say well done Palarse for that result. Hodgeson has done wonders getting them out of the drop zone. But that makes me feel bitter to how we have performed of late. If we showed at least half of the spirit and commitment Palarse have been and let’s be fair we do have a better squad when everyone is fit, we would be sitting in the top 7 now not teetering over the abyss waiting for a revolution. It’s not doom and gloom yet though I know that. But if they can get something against Citu surely we can too....
trouble is, Silva won’t have the first clue how to set up like Palace did today and remain disciplined for 90 odd minutes. Thus why we’re going to get our bottoms well and truly spanked
You're clearly not as ITK as you think. He's gone. Crossed references. Ser Robert Strong is the reanimated corpse in Game of Thrones. Sir Roy Strong is your misremembering of radio 4 comedy character, Count Arthur Strong. Brave of you to challenge though.

I can't help but think that with ten men, they'd have still got the two late goals. And our humiliation would have been greater than it currently is. Maybe - somehow - Atkinson did us a favour by not seeing it........
Sir Roy Strong is coincidentally both my misremembering of whatever you said & my correct allusion to the former director of the V&A. As a cultural commentator, he cut a slightly Wodehouseian figure, once launching a vociferous campaign against the vulgarity of hanging baskets. On matters open to nuance & interpretation, his views were often famously absolute, unyielding & dismissive. Whilst some saw him as self regarding & pompous, Strong’s academic stature & popularisation of the visual arts were rewarded with a knighthood in 1982.
Useful clarification, well noted. He would have been less use as a footballer than Seba but more vocal & organised. Only problem is that his facial hair is too silly for a footballer.
As I say - he does it because he gets away with it. I think every opposition fan says Zaha cons his way to fouls after each game.
Opinion is divided on Zaha. Palace fans think he is more sinned against than sinning and worship the ground that he falls over. Everyone else, including a small hen in its late 40s,thinks he is a talented player who is rarely upright. Moreover he causes most television viewers to believe their television has a fault with its vertical hold. Mr IBB has the right hump now, as I suggested this this to him on Sunday.
This prig thinks he and the group of fops he goes to the match with are representative of normal match going people. Laughable!
Something that's stuck in my head from No.1 son's football GK training and No. 2 son's hockey GK training (both from respected coaches):
I'd say last Season he was a lot more culpable. This Season he's been in better form and more consistent, though he is 36 so when he does go he'll go quickly.
The two figures cannot be compared. You assume that the 79% of people who do drink, also do so at a football match.
If by 'normal match-going people' you're talking about the vast majority who spend most matches sober and who sit down most of the time, occasionally singing, then yes, we are pretty representative. Or is it that you are so deluded, perhaps by the alcohol you drink at matches, that you perceive the majority of our fans have been drinking like you, chant 'we hate Luton' like you and go home sulking before half time if we aren't playing well, also like you? It would be a very different atmosphere, even away from home, if that were the case.
Has Martin Atkinson been charged with incompetence yet ? He should be sent down to the Championship to referee again.
I would love the chance for managers to have a voice in who is appointed to a match particularly if it's an idiot who has undoubtedly influenced two matches in a negative fashion for us. I hope Silva had a really strong word with him. He should not be scared too. Like Wenger after the WBA having words with Mike Dean. Unsurprisingly he has been charged by the numpties at the FA with his conduct. If the FA could do something useful how about introducing real time video referees.
Did you see the stamp at the time ? Hardly the most clear cut incident and no-one talked about it post match until MOTD showed it.. I did see Doucourae push someone in the face which was a bit risky and lucky to only get a yellow.. You cannot have managers deciding which refs to pick ! They probably wouldn't want any of them and run the game themselves..
Wenger is selective with his vision but the officials and the governing body do make life very difficult for themselves!
I did. No wonder Okaka reacted and was quite restrained. I'd like Gino to say we don't want this canute refereeing out matches anymore. He's an acehole.
"Which was in response to a previous comment by someone else about drinking at football matches. I can see where you're coming from.
