So if you attend every game does it make you a golden shower?

It’s a midweek game. I have to work. I put my tickets back up for resale a week before the game. If nobody buys them it’s not my problem. If your mates are so diehard perhaps they could have bought a season ticket when we weren’t in the premier league like I did.

It worked okay for me this time. I emailed ticket office and they replied a day later saying my tickets had been released for general sale and proceeds would go to hospice. I guess an electronic say of doing it on ticket site might make it more efficient.

There is a family that sit next to me in LGT3 who have probably been to 3 games all season despite going to quite a few games. They're never re sold so I presume they don't give them back to the club. The annoying thing is that I want a season ticket for my son and one of these tickets would ideal.

I’m happy to make the effort to give my tickets up when needed, but I suppose if the club wanted to maximise chances of a full house they could give the ticket holder a credit against next season if the ticket is resold (perhaps the resale split between charity and ticket seller). That would motivate more people to resell. I think other clubs have ticket exchanges.

How is that stat shaping up that suggested Deeney is second only to Aguero for Goals and assists in 2019?

Really feared a Huddersfield / Yeovil last night but coming through 4-1 winners shows a great maturity.

Great subs, no injuries, Capoue staving off suspension and a healthy boost to our goal difference. Job well done (eventually).

It seems a bit spasmodic to me...I haven't always received an answer, although this season has been OK on the couple of occasions I've done it.

I think last nights result gives us our highest point total and goals scored in the PL since our return with 6 games to go

In all fairness given favourable conditions you could technically land before you take off.

Most empty seats last night were low down in the LGT and EJ which are all general release ticket areas and coupled with about 1k missing from the away end that is most of the issue on this occasion. so the timing of the match and short notice for ticket sales are mainly to blame on this occasion.

That’s very generous. I though the attitude of the team stank in the first half with Deulofeu taking arrogant and selfish to new levels. You could tell in the post match interview that Deeney was looking for ways to describe the first half without calling out.

Fulham was never going to be a tough game no matter what anyone may have thought and the only way it would be is if we approached the game in the manner we did in the first half. I could understand not wanting to get injured, and there were certainly plenty of instances where we pulled out of challenges, but it came off almost like an exhibition game without the exhibition football. Quite how we managed to misplace so many passes when the opposition were hardly snapping at our heels defies belief.

I honestly thought about leaving at half time to get myself back to Reading (stinking cold doesn’t help) but waited to see what the second half threw up. Didn’t have to wait long. A real statement of who is in charge and what is unacceptable with the two subs. Managers rarely make unenforced subs at half time so I imagine Javi was slightly annoyed.

I’lll stop short of using the game of two halves cliche (dammit!) but a more direct approach, not from ball movement so much as player movement. Gray has always had a great eye for getting into great positions but his game is taking giant steps up with every outing. I know I’m picking on Deulofeu a bit but do you honestly see him squaring that ball for Deeney to tap in or trying to beat the keeper at the near post? At the moment, when Gray gets the ball, I’m almost expecting something good to be created. That is some difference from last season.

It would be good to carry on that second half to Wembley as, even though it was a very poor Fulham side, we moved the ball so well with real purpose and, shockingly, we opened them up on half a dozen occasions.

Our defence is going to be vulnerable until we hopefully get a couple of decent centre backs in the summer (or give Wilmot a shot even though he may be more looking at the Doucouré role) so we need to pose a big threat in attack and defend from there as well.

Looking forward to Sunday and obviously hope we finally take that extra step to the final. Really don’t like the thought of arrogant, obnoxious Wolves supporters turning up later in the month giving it large.

I described that first half like a pre-season friendly.

The change of personnel and particularly shape to 3-5-2 made the difference.

Deulofeu was loathsome last night, but he's still the only player we have who on his day is unplayable. Even for man city. Unfortunately those days are few and far between. We just have to pray they happen to fall on semi and cup final day. He must start for me.

Did they all enjoy the game last night? as I am sure you can tell me they were all there to cheer the team on.

Dunno but it says in the article.. "Exact details of how this will be managed during 2019/20 will be communicated to Season Ticket renewers after the renewals windows close"

I guess there cant be too many that do the scanning of seasons tickets for others thing if the club have noticed through their analysis that there is an issue with no shows. We'll just have to wait and see if it makes any difference next season.

Also, I imagine there must be a fair number of fans who, like me, are not local to Watford any more. If the M25 isn't behaving, it can take me almost 3 hours to get to the ground from where I live. A mid-week game is never going to be practical for me, I'm afraid.

That being said if we play like we did in parts of 1st half we'll be massacred. We shouldn't get carried away at beating a team with such a poor defence.

Absolutely. I wasn't a booer but we needed a rocket at half time. Fell way short of the standards set this season and in this division you will get punished for complacency. Fulham are a good example of what happens when talented players don't give 100%...

They don't need an analysis, it's noticeable with the naked bloody eye.

I'd be very surprised if they could track who is and who isn't there and they had a plan deal with it beyond a few words in the small print.

The fans bang on about wanting a bigger stadium - why? The one we have gets filled 5 or 6 times a season and the fans are mostly sit on their hands, tut at people standing up bloody idiots.

I'm sure they have enough data from the system to show which season cards go through the turnstiles at each game and can no doubt pull down reports from that showing the whole season. So long as there's a waiting list for season tickets it's a win-win for the club.

Well he tore Wolves a new one earlier in the season. That being said, he’s been bang average or worse for months now. Would like him fit but it’s not the loss it would have been earlier in the year.

Sema to burst into unplayable form in a semi-final after looking hopeless for 9 months. Got to love football!

Javi apparently made a comment about him feeling his hip at HT. He's a good player but I'd say if I had to choose anyone from our best starting XI we could cope without I think he'd edge it at the moment.

    Christ.

I guess it all depends if we intend to match Wolves' 3-5-2 or not. If we do we can line up like the second half last night (except Gray on the bench).

True enough.. we can all bloody see it.. and it's been well documented what our real attendances are.

Only you made the point about season tickets holders being scanned in in their absence. My point was that this would show up in the clubs data if that was a major issue and that would be the issue they would be addressing.. not just that people aren't turning up.

Poor attendance was due to the fact it was a school night, people had work the next day and Fulham are ****.
