Burnley are losing to Leicester in the former Watford manager challenge cup.

Nothing changed today really, though it would have been good for us had Spam and Leicester dropped those points.

It's still in our hands - the home games vs Wolves and West Ham should be decisive.

Leicester and West Ham also still have to play each other.

I didn't mind seeing Leicester pick up that late winner though as it'd be ace if Burnley finally go down.

Unbelievable refereeing in this Cardiff Chelsea game. Shocking. Azpi MILES offside for the equaliser and Rudiger not sent off when clearly the last man. Really harsh on Cardiff.

Very hard to take for Cardiff but amusing to watch.

 

No big club bias in this league at all. If Cardiff fans disagree, they can have a good old chinwag in the pub after the game with their mates.

As that's what it's all about.

 

It's funny coz it's Colin, but surely this has to be looked at beyond "we need VAR". As things stand, all VAR will do is give the refs longer to come to the same incorrect decision in favour of the big team. I honestly can't remember the last time a refereeing error cost a big 6 club points against a lower club, but it's happening weekly the other way around.

Absolutely sickened by the late Liverpool goal. It would have been fantastic to see the creative range of excuses that Klopp would have laid out.

They looked very edgy and if Sissoko could shoot like he can run, it would probably have been enough for Spurs.
I almost felt a teensy bit sorry for Spurs.

 

It's almost as though they seem to favour the big teams.

 

It's difficult enough beating the top six teams without the ref and linemans helping them, I was waiting for Colin to burst into tears, I'm now waiting for him to be fined for his outburst, might as well open up his wounds and get the salt out!

 

Given where they are and the importance of the result I can understand his irritation. Must be pretty soul destroying.
Robbed of 3 points and of course don't forget they would have beaten us had the ref given them that first half penalty so they would be 6 points better off.

 

There's no doubt about it, but Cardiff, Watford and Burnley are the three most crapped on teams in the Premier League. I've not seen a table, but I suspect one does exists, which records bad decisions for and against.

I expect those three will be top of the list for bad decisions against, but the top 6 in the league will be the top 6 in the bad decisions going for, plus Palace and Bournemouth will make up the top 8.

I wonder if Javi will bitch and moan like a little kid over our lack of penalties like a certain ex-manager? It’s not such a big deal when you are good enough to score goals by other methods, like actually playing football (although we may have been a few points clear in 7th, bloody refs!).
