Summer Werewolf II - Day 2

AshdonWfc was the not usually the nervous type but had a bad feeling about this night. Uncharacteristically he had reinforced the door with extra planks of wood to protect against any wolverine intrusions.

Just as he settled down to his cup of Horlicks he heard panting and shuffling outside. He knew it was coming but felt confident his reinforcements would do the job. The sniffing and frustrated growls from the door made him think he was going to be ok.

Then SMACK, SMACK SMACK an axe came through the door carving a whole big enough for a wolf head to stick through

" Here's Johnny " the snarling snout shouted in glee . "I'll huff and I'll puff till I blow your house down ha ha ha " .

Ashdon could do nothing but whimper as the werewolf burst the door down and launched razor sharp canines into his neck.

Ashdon died. He was GOOD.

Mike was walking home , eager to get to the safety of his cosy cottage, as he passed the village phone box , when it rang. He hesitated and then picked it up .... an urbane voice spoke to him down the line ....

" I've been watching you closely and I find you testing. Did you know a census taker once tried to test me?....... I hate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti" . A slithering sound in his ear was the last thing he heard as he a felt a cold claw slice his jugular and the air drain violently from his lungs.

Mike was killed. He was GOOD

Moog felt confident he was safe. . Everyone knew that had once had a drink with Danny Dyer , was a second cousin to Vinny Jones and has got a signed Dennis Waterman single . With that sort of back up no one messes with ya, wolf or no wolf.

There was a knock at the door but before it could be answered it was kicked down and there stood a werewolf dressed in an open lapelled 80s suit and greased back black hair .

" Say hello to my little friends " he snarled , holding out his paw and extending his five claws one by one.

There was nothing Danny, Vinny or Dennis could do to help Moog now. He was dog food...

BUT, if he was dog food, this wolf wasn't going to be able to enjoy it. In his last breath, Moog was able break a beer bottle on the bar, and then plunge it right in the wolf's neck.

Moog had died. He was GOOD. But he was the martyr, and had done his job. He took the wolf down with him.

Who was this wolf? None other than...

NorwayHornet. 1 WOLF DOWN.

Meanwhile, Diamond, convinced he would die on the first night, was kindly protected by the Guardian.

I thought only the Alpha could be taken out by the martyr, so we should have a new Alpha today

 

Interesting Dom... you say RIP Ashdon and Mike but nothing about brave Moog who took a wolf down with him. Freudian slip perhaps?

 

first thought is that someone wanted to take Moog out as a logical and experienced player, suggesting that the wolf has played this game many times before.
Ashdon thought he might go after being named as good, Mike I think was a complete random.

On the plus side we now know we have two wolves

 

3 good down but taking out a wolf probably makes it a decent night overall! Well done Moog.

Can anything now be read into diamond having been declared good yesterday?

 

Am I missing something? We know who killed Moog, it was NorwayHornet.

 

Can somebody 'unpin' Day Four of the last Werewolf game please? Keeps getting in my way.

 

Am I the only one who thought there were only 2 wolves?

 

So... Ashdown was Good, which adds a little bit of weight to the theory that the first message yesterday was from the Seer and the second was the Wolf trying to stitch up Diamond. Not conclusive, but on the balance of probabilities, seems more likely to me at the moment.

Not really. The Norway wouldn't have known so early on who the other wolves were I doubt.

Well well!

First off, apologies for not being able to properly register my vote - in my job these things happen but went on for much longer than I anticipated. Won't happen again but might have to vote early in future.

Well done Moog for baiting a wolf, gives us a bit more of a chance with not much to go on. With Ashdon being taken down last night it is clear that the first message was from the seer, unfortunately that puts Diamond in the limelight a bit even though it's likely he was selected by the wolf at random for being a vocal forum member.

A few votes for me last night, not sure why?

Not sure it puts Diamond in the limelight. If we know the first message was from the seer naming Ashdon as good, then the 2nd was from the wolf, which we should ignore as rubbish

At this stage Diamond is neither proven as good or evil

 

Rip Mike, Ashdon and Moogles. Moog getting a wolf kill last night is a relief to get a breakthrough for team good!

 

Morning guys, I'm sorry for not voting yesterday. I was preoccupied with studying and the same will happen today until my exam finishes at 6 (just in case anyone starts asking where I am). RIP to Ashdon, Mike and Moog ( you beautiful, beautiful man). Let's keep this up guys and girls and get another wolf tonight

 

As I said he was probably just chosen at random but with not much to go on we can't rule out the possibility it's a wolf defending themselves. I'm hoping we'll get some more info today as I don't want to lynch Diamond for such a vague possibility.

Hello everyone!

I wanted to see whether anyone stood out more than another before viewing today. It is such pot luck. Went for Diamond and they are good.

I am going to try and mix up the style of writing to avoid the wolf copying me in the next few days.


Day 2: Anon Msg 1:

Ok everybody, I know the first day is difficult. People need to remember that shouting accusations about doesn't help anybody at this stage. Today I decided to view DAFT ROW he is EVIL. I also viewed Ashdon yesterday, he is Good.

 

Wouldn't surprise me if the wolf is trying to get those who played the last game to think about Daft Row and how it came across he was evil? Also get the feeling the second line is trying to prevent us from questioning whether this message is from the seer or wolf....

Don't like this message, the bit in bold seems like it's trying to control the game a bit too much. Seems like a message from a wolf to me but will reserve judgment until the second one, if it arrives.

 

Nice to get another early message, hopefully we'll get the other soon.
