Only left him out because it looks like Gracia likes him playing wide right rather than Richarlison's usual place on the left. But yeah, if you include him too, then we are very well covered on both flanks.
Just as an aside, shouldn't the title of this thread be changed ever so slightly? Not sure "Europe's elite" is appropriate any more...
Was just thinking that, although could probably cover it off by putting ironic quotation marks around those two words.
50 mil for Richarlison hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahEverton you ******* mugs!
Best case scenario for Richarlison was he played for us for 2/3 seasons and was amazing enough to sell for £50m The fact that we have reached that sale value already after one extremely hit and miss season is nothing short of miraculous - we'd be insane not to sell
Let's all not forget that Snake was a big reason in the first place why Richie came to us ahead of some other clubs: "‘I owe Marco a lot because he is the one that called me before I came to Watford. I moved here because of him. He helped me every day and was extremely good with me.’" Richie pretty much threw his toys out the pram after Silva left. https://www.101greatgoals.com/news/richarlison-explains-outburst-marco-silva-sacking/ This could be a win-win all-round: we get good money for a disgruntled player, Richie gets his father figure back, Snake gets his man again, and... okay, I'd hold my breath as to whether it would be a good deal for Everton.
Shame. I doubt we've seen the best of him. But if he's been unsettled it's probably for the best. Massive profit hopefully put back into the areas needed. So everyone's a winner.
Well at the moment he is still in Austria according to his Instagram story so terms have definitely not been fully agreed on as of this point in time (I remember reading one report saying that he has travelled/is travelling to Everton to finalise the deal)
The reports of a deal being close may yet be true, but I have read somewhere this evening that he was "on his way" for a medical (could have been twitter spew tbf). However he has recently added a video to his instagram story of Lukebakio singing so he's still with the group in Austria for now. Edit: Nisman beat me by a few seconds. This is becoming a common ****** occurrence.
We'll get a very good indication tomorrow afternoon, based on whether he plays against D*sseldorf or not.
ESPN say he's flown back from Austria: http://www.espn.co.uk/football/socc...-richarlison-from-watford-in-40m-deal-sources "...who has flown back from Watford's preseason tour of Austria for talks and a medical." And we've lost £10m already....
BBC report that it's a deal that could eventually rise to £50m. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44907306
He might have been left out anyways because we have a dearth of wingers and he played vs K*ln. If he's not on the bench, then he's off imo. It's not. On that story, the whiteboard next to Lukebakio singing shows the timetable for the players tomorrow. It seems like that was definitely done just now
Has this little pipsqueak gone yet? Anything upwards of £35 million and we're laughing. £50 million is ridiculous money for a player who looked dreadfully out of sorts for around 80% of last season.
A piece on globoesporte.globo.com say Flumenese are to get 10% of any profit paid over the fee we paid them. £50m to us would mean £3.85m to Flumenese. https://globoesporte.globo.com/fute...elo-everton-em-negocio-de-r-250-milhoes.ghtml Richarlison is close to trading Watford for Everton in a $ 250 million deal Request from coach Marco Silva, Brazilian is about to be announced as a reinforcement of the Toffees. If this value is confirmed, Fluminense will be able to pocket R $ 19 million with the transfer. Richarlison is close to trading Watford for Everton in a deal that could reach 50 million pounds ($ 250 million). It's all settled between the two clubs and the player and there are only bureaucratic details to close the deal, including medical examinations and contract signing. The information was initially published by the English newspaper "Daily Mail" and confirmed by GloboEsporte.com. The Hornets hired him last season for £ 11.5m ($ 57m) in the current deal with Fluminense, who also benefited from trading between the two Premier League teams. After all, according to the agreement reached in the transfer a year ago, the Tricolor would have been entitled to 10% of the difference between what was paid and what could be received by the English team. If the sale really does reach £ 50 million, Watford would make £ 38.5 million with the player. Of this amount, 3.85 million pounds (R $ 19 million) would go to Fluminense. The Brazilian is a request from the new coach of the Toffees, the Portuguese Marco Silva, with whom he shone in the first half of last season. It was with him that Richarlison scored five goals in his first 12 Watford games and became one of the highlights of the Premier League team campaign. After the good start of the Premier League, Watford dropped production over the season, and Marco Silva was fired in January. After leaving the coach, Richarlison did not return to balance the networks and ended the season with five goals in 32 games in the Premier League.
Stories are uploaded at the time of recording and remain visible for 24 hours. If the video was added to the story at 7pm tonight, he was in Austria at 7pm tonight.
Disappointing. It's good money but you want to see good players first and foremost. I also don't like the 'could rise to'. £35m doesn't seem so great, thought the Pozzo's have generally had a good handle on a player's real worth.
£30m+ up front would be incredible. He was complete gash for most of the season. Granted he had mitigating factors insomuch as he had played a lot of football in Brazil beforehand, but still. He may turn out to be worth it eventually, who knows. But he wants to be with silva and for £30m+ up front we should hand him over with a ribbon
Happy with that. He's temperamental and has dodgey decision making at times. He may grow out of it and be a real star. But there's no guarantees. £35+ million now is good business imho especially as he'd probably have a massive sulk like his snakey mentor if we blocked it anyway. We need a good striker or two rather than a young winger who hasn't played well for months. Hopefully that's where the money will be going.
Depends what the add-ons are based on. If they're mostly appearance-based then we're laughing, because we know Sliva will play him for 90 minutes every week come rain or shine.
. Well that would be a 39 million pound profit and the money could be invested elsewhere in the team. Good business sense .
Yes. Sliva will play Richarlison until the boy proves what a brilliant player he is, or Sliva gets the sack. Simple as that.
Let's see how we spend the money. Real shame we don't get to see him develop here. Just hope we have a couple of cracking deals in the draw just waiting for this to complete. Wonder if we have a sell on %. If he does well he could be £70m in a year or two.
