Red Hot News Question - Will He Or Won't He?

Me and the missus and the nippers are all agog with the right royal speculation that is understandably dominating the front pages and lead items of the news agenda.

Will Megan's dad, Malcolm Markle, go to the wedding or not? Will it have to be her mum, Mabel Markle, who gives her away instead?

On the one hand, what royal gal or guy wouldn't want her father to walk him or her down the aisle? On the other, we can't have the royal 'firm' embarrassed by someone who's prepared to pose for photos for money, can we? That'd be crude money grubbing and things like gold, money and jewels are an absolute anathema to our Royal Family. It's like they're allergic to them. We all know how much they despise wealth and money.

As you can imagine, it's the exclusive topic of debate in the Kremlin household, with passions running high on both sides of the debate. If Malcolm doesn't go, that'll mean the whole Wisconsin branch of Markles will be persona non-grata as far as I'm concerned. And if Cousin Millicent Markle doesn't go, that'll mean her brother-in-law Michael and his brother Matthew won't go either.

What are other hornets feelings on this: the most important question to have faced the human race since the dawn of time?

Come or go? Stay at home or pin the carnation on the lapel? Throw him in the tower or gord bless 'im yer majesty? Top hat and tails or off with his head?

I have a good day coming up tomorrow. It will start at 6.a.m. when I'll lead a party around the Croxley Common Moor to hear the dawn chorus. Then I think I'll head for the Pennsylvania Wetherspoons in Ricky for a proper breakfast.

Following that, I'll go to Tring and wander about a bit at Wilstone Reservoir including a stint at my favourite bird hide in all the world. Then I'll probably do some sort of 'lunchtime thingy' at the Half Moon in Wilstone village.

Finally, when I think it's safe to put my head up above the parapet again because all the sycophantic tosh is finally over then I might just do that.

Although I do note that the woman getting married today has a Maltese Great-Grandmother and did visit and say nice things about our island three years ago. So she can’t be all bad.
