Everton been battered by Arsenal - shows what a good result last week was.

Deeney did Arsenals team talk for the Everton game - look at the match stats - he should get a nice thankyou cake delivered by Mr Wenger.

Amazing the 3 promoted teams all doing well and clear of the bottom 3 so far. Not often that's happened.

Moyes for Koeman by the time we play them?

It’s a shame but I can’t see Koeman being in charge tomorrow, let alone for our game.

West Ham and Everton will have new managers for the games against us

Maybe, just maybe, we will continue the tradition of being the straw that breaks the camels back and both managers will be sacked following the ignominy of being defeated by little old Watford.

Such a weird season, I’m not at all suprised by us and how we’ve performed, I’m just suprised that literally every other team bar City, Spurs and Man Utd (excluding yesterday’s result) have been awful, yet comparatively all the promoted sides have been excellent, it’s a strange one.

As an aside, did anyone see Nyom clattering into his own player (or visa versa) forthr saints goal yesterday? Made me laugh my head off.

Palace, Swansea & Bournemouth to go down would be lovely!

Next three games against fragile teams in Stoke, Everton and Wet Spam. Two of those are at home so now is the time to really take advantage. The hammers looked absolutely awful on Friday night. Hart's confidence looks shot, they are slow in transition and lacking ideas. Stoke are the best of this bunch but shipping goals and their confidence must be low. Something like a minimum of 5 - 7 points from these three games will establish us in top 8. Luv this team...Doucoure one of the best mids in Europe at the moment and Richarlison in young player of the season form. Things can only get better...!

The game plan against West Ham should be very much the same as Southampton, shoot low and in the corners!

Plus we didn’t have to face Sanchez, Ramsey and a motivated Ozil. Pretty sure we wouldnt have won against the team Arsenal put out yesterday.

I hear Pulis is under pressure, the fans have given up with him.

Not surprised. Premier League survival at what cost? It's mind numbingly boring watching them play. It's just about bearable when you're winning so god knows how they feel when they're losing.

It doesn't help Nyom taking out his own players.

Well they were time wasting at 2-1 against us in the first half!

That says a lot about their style.

Pulis is definitely under threat now. They have two home games coming up against Citee and Chelski. They have taken time-wasting and anti-football to a new level so far this season. If I was a Baggies fan would rather be relegated having a go than watch that rubbish. I thought this season they would be pushing on but Pulis is just so negative

WBA could always appoint QSF if they want a more entertaining brand of football than Pulis delivers.

    Oh and Koemans gone.

West Brom should sack Pulis and appoint Mazari, although he probably thinks they are too gung-ho

Why would Dyche want to leave Burnley pushing for Europe for a relegation battle with Everton?

    ;)

I think he will move on soon but I fear for him that more pampered players won't respect him and his style of football won't please fans of a bigger club who like the tika taka stuff - even Jose M is getting stick off Man U fans for being too "negative"!

Guess he could adapt with better players but its a result business and unlike at Burnley Dyche wouldn't be given much time to build a squad etc.

Difficult to see a natural progression from Burnley to another PL team for Dyche. Oddly enough, Watford is all I can think of. He is young enough to drop down a league and take over at a bigger club there, Aston Villa say. Get them promoted and established back in the top tier and then he would be ready to take on most any job.

That game last night was truly dismal, the Sky pundits really had to earn their money to talk it up. Apart from the City and Chelsea games Burnley have either scored 1 or 0 and either won or drawn. I can’t wait to play them, I might order in a selection of paints to simultaneously watch dry. You can’t knock the job Dyche has done though.

Sorry for the long absence, a somewhat long and dull story, so let's leave that there.....

Onto the football! Everton have successfully applied to be involved in Prem 2. I wouldn't have done this for any of the 'big 6' having a bad season, but Everton were always an in-between side, and their transfer dealings have surprisingly backfired this year. So the table below now involves Everton and results in brackets are against the Big 6 sides only.

    Prem 2 table 03 11 17.PNG

Still sitting pretty, especially when you look at the fact we have played 4 games v the Prem 1 sides (ironically Everton have played the most).

The top 6 dominance this year is highlighted in the Prem 1 V Prem 2 figures which are P44 W5 D7 L32, meaning almost 3 in 4 games v these sides end in defeat.

Good league this one though, 6 points between the top 9 sides.

Stoke v Leicester turning out to be a decent game.

Probably because Stoke have been twice behind so had to come out and play making such a difference to the pattern of it.

Clement getting sacked after today’s game if the result stays the same. Losing 1-0 at the moment to Brighton at home is not a good result for Swansea.

Anyone watching the Newcastle Bournemouth game? If not, it’s like watching Sunday League, except less entertaining.

Kind of sums up the teams that played.

    Almost all 1\0 either way!

Brigton and Huddersfield are very organised playing teams who cannot score for toffee.

    Quite predictable.

    I'd take a 1-0 win tomorrow though!
