help all. My youngest daughter is 18 in oct. For a pressie we pay for her to go to Paris with one of her girlfriends for a week. So far so good.
She meets a boy, nice I hear you say. Turns out the little s**t is a scummer and she’s really sweet on him.
I want her to be happy, but bloody hell what if she invites him here etc.
How do I deal with this?

Definitely needs nipping in the bud. Use the opportunity to take her shopping in Ltn for her birthday, including a walk down the high street & at some point casually say "I'm so happy for you both & if things work out in the future it's crazy to think you could be seeing a lot more of this place & property is affordable around here too if you ever want to move in together"

Pretty sure you won't need to deploy any further tactics after implementing the above.

You've already failed as a parent because she didn't sniff the scummer out early.

You only have yourself to blame. That taint will never wash off.

    I'd go a step further.

Use the tickets to Paris for you to take the missus.

Book her a 2 week break in a holiday inn in the heart of L*t*n

  7. Invite him into your home, shower him with presents, extol the benefits of being a Hornet, bring him to a match.

A sort of reverse radicalisation in other words...

Tell her that he's big pals with Tommy Robinson, and that he'll also become a big part of her life.............

  9. Nunnery. It's the only way.
