Ok lads and ladettes, I've got a question for you all. Does anyone know where to find lists of the entire coaching staff, rather than just Javi's particular consiglieri? I know his four main men are on the squad list, but a question has been posed over on the old nemesis, Reddit, and I can't find the answer because so far I have singularly failed to find a list, either on transfermarkt or the official site or anywhere else. In particular, I'm trying to find out the identity of the black coach at the back of this photo: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/sep/14/watford-javi-gracia-premier-league#img-2 And yes, as soon as I saw it I made the 'It's Doucoure' mislabelling joke, so that's already happened. Cheers for listening, tip your waiters.
I've been having a dig around and can find very little other than the obvious, though I may have found the identity of the black gentleman. Maybe. It's a long shot. So if we start on the left-hand side and call 'LS' #01 through to baldy man as #10, this is what I have. #01 - ? #02 - ? #03 - Juan Solla - assistant coach #04 - Matthew Ogunsanya - club doctor #05 - Zigor Aranalde - assistant coach #06 - Javi Gracia - head coach #07 - Inigo Artega - goalkeeping coach #08 - Isidre Ramon Madir - analyst #09 - Peter Webb - physio #10 - ? I found Peter Webb here; https://trainingground.guru/staff-profiles/watford-staff-profiles I'm 99.99% sure it's him. I found Matthew Ogunsanya here; https://www.linkedin.com/in/matthew-ogunsanya-3b3737130/ I'm floundering around and trying to imagine him smiling, maybe 20% chance it's him. Below is a blown up image of his Linkedin page.
That's brilliant work mate, very much appreciated. Considering it's listed on his linkedin that he works at Watford, and the images look incredibly similar, I feel like it really must be one and the same. This is an interesting discovery indeed, although I doubt the Liverpool fan who thought they recognised him is going to feel as vindicated .
