I expect him to be here next season along with Lemina. Our cash offers are what Juventus want and will be pushed our way. By all accounts they're were very happy with the way we dealt with them for Pereyra.

A crate is being readied for shipment as we speak...! Shades of Holebas. With lots of grumbling about weather/ lingo until he sees his first pay cheque. COYHS

He'll be alright when he finds the Bull Rodizio in Apsley

Udinese have signed a 40 year old keeper for a season. So one of their big three must be off somewhere soon.

Agreed, unfortunately though it sounds like Meret. So unless they are planning on having Scuffet as no.1 and Bizzarri as no.2, I can't see them selling Karnezis as well.

It's ok. Nothing special. If you're desperate for a churrasco, it will do, but there are far better in London. Service is poor in there too.

Meret to us hopefully. So far the Italian sides are dubious on the price. Plus all of them need to sell before they buy, by the look of it.

    Udinese are obsessed with keepers.

It's staggering that they've had 2 potentially world class keepers come through at exactly the same time. Can't think of a situation where thvats happened berfore anywhere!

The 2 Perrys, Digweed and Suckling?

Totally agree. I will be racking my brain all day now. Next season is going to be massive for both of them. Have read That Spal are desperate to get Meret back. Would be a good move for him.

I was meaning at youth level. They were late 20's/early 30's! (also Perry Suckling taught me my level 2 goalkeeping badge!)

Only one I can think of was Atletico had Sergio Asenjo who was first team at club and under-21 level, touted to replace Casillas for Spain, went off to the Under-20s tournament and a 3rd choice David de Gea had to fill in when Roberto got injured...needless to say Asenjo never got his place back!

At least it wasn't the other Perry we had at that time, "PYA", as he would have been even more of a disater between the sticks ;)

Sod Neto buy this young German keeper playing against England that's 2 or 3 high class saves , robbed our new lad of an assist or 2.

The English one looks different class. Hope Gino is watching and puts in a bit for him. Based on what we paid for Hughes, 4m should do it.

  24. Apparently, according to Perry Suckling, there were only three players with the first name Perry registered at the time they were both here. The other one being Perry Groves.

Funny the utter poop one stores away for the closed season quiz.

  25. Gino thought he'd got him dirt cheep, after talking to Pickfords agent Beryl, but was very disappointed when a pantechnicon turned up, instead of a goalkeeper, at London Colney two Tuesdays back. Nothing wasted though. The van's going to be used for transporting Troy's new shorts between the training ground and the Vic. Don't know what they're going to do if he gets a second pair. Should be announced as the Club's new 'Technical Pants Logistic Solution Partner' in a few days.

    Entirely likely.

My brother once started a campaign called Pickled Eggs Now In St Albans.

  27. Has anything interesting happened to his Pickled Eggs Now In St Albans in the last few years? Has it shot up and got all out of hand, or is it doomed to fester in some dark and musky hole that once seemed to promise so much?
