Is Sean Dyche trying to get Penaranda as well as Deeney? He can fck right off, I’ve been waiting years to see this wonder kid.
Only once we've sent him on a 'hearts and minds' publicity tour around the Czech Republic to restore our tattered reputation in that nation.
Just watched what passes as his highlight reel from his spell at Malaga. No goals obviously, but I'd say there's plenty of similarities between him and Rich. Looks quick, and also seems to track back quite well. Whether he's as good as they hope we'll have to see, but certainly a decent option to have on the wing if we go 4-3-3
I'll check with the Clarins and Chanel girls and get back to you. I think they were keener on Gomes, nice bald pate to apply make up to.
Zut! Rouge Noir, unless the marketing team at Chanel have brought out yet another shade that I'm unaware of.
Real Valladolid are interested in Penaranda though admittedly he isn't their first choice option. https://pucelafichajes.com/2018/08/adalberto-penaranda-la-agenda-del-real-valladolid/ Adalberto Peñaranda on the agenda of Real Valladolid One of the Premier League strikers that Real Valladolid has on the agenda according to journalist José Luis Rojí of Cadena SER is Watford's Venezuelan Adalberto Peñaranda. One of the things that Miguel Ángel Gómez likes is that he would adapt quickly to Real Valladolid, since he knows the Spanish League after his spell at Granada and Málaga. The striker has not finished exploiting, but he is a player of great future and great projection that if he ends up putting a shot, he would try his incorporation, he has been international with Venezuela and Watford would not look bad an assignment for the player to revalue. In Granada is when he has excelled, while in Malaga did not meet the expectations created. Last year in the Andalusian team played 13 games and did not score anything, but the truth is that in the last season Málaga no player came to succeed. According to Rojí, the operation is complicated and convoluted, so Miguel Ángel Gómez will have to spin very thin to take the striker, since in economic matters should be negotiated quite especially the player's record. The journalist in the SER chain, without saying the name has indicated that in the Premier there is another player who likes more than Peñaranda and that would be the first option and also knows the Spanish League and is older than the Venezuelan.
You'd have to laugh if after all the waiting with him to finally get him over here, we sent him back off to Spain again.
Gracia talks about him in the Wobby. He could have a part to play this season, but needs to improve his quality, and also his recent dodgy attitude: http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...oungster-can-feature-this-season/?ref=mr&lp=2 His papers still aren't sorted either.
I’ve waited so long to see this guy play for us , I really hope he does . You can definitely see his talent and fast for a tall player. He still has areas to improve on ( one for the not far future ) but definitely this season if he can...
He has been given a squad number, though as there have been 30 numbers given out he might not be in the final 25?
Would that not just be rubbing their noses in it ? You're boy wasn't good enough for us and look at the #### we have replaced him with !
I think he is 21 but counts as under-21 because it’s done by age at the start of the calendar year for some reason
Does he definitely count as under-21 for the Premier League? Because he's not been included in the squad list.
Very odd and a bit concerning given he is one of our back up strikers...and esp with the Okaka exit rumours still circling.
Kaboul has also been left off. I hope we do not have Penaranda stuck here unable to get a permit now! Embarrassing
Maybe he can only be added to the list when the work permit/passport issue has been settled. I'd hope that as an U21, he can be added mid-season
Ffs, I thought we’d sorted this. He was about the only attacking player in our team with any mystery about them, so I was really excited to see him in action. Now all my hopes are on an 18 year old CM...
The way Leventhal was going on about it I figured Peñaranda was the man to fill in for Richarlison. Hopefully just a formality. No idea what the holdup is... It's a Spanish passport, not a non-EU work permit.
Shamelessly stealing this info from Twitter but can't see any way in which Peñaranda can play here this season. Route 1 - Spanish passport (two year fast track for Ibero American nationals) - requires two years continued legal residency but we broke up his time in Spain by sending him on a pointless loan to Udinese where he didn't play: http://www.exteriores.gob.es/Portal...cionParaExtranjeros/Paginas/Nacionalidad.aspx Route 2 - Qualify through national team appearances - has only played 40% of Venezuela's games over the last two seasons but because of their FIFA ranking, I think he has to have played 75%. He hasn't played at all for them in the last year, spanning seven internationals. Route 3 - Qualify as an "exceptional talent". That's what we tried last year when he'd just helped Venezuela to the final of the u20 World Cup. Since then, he hasn't scored a goal or had an assist, couldn't get in the Malaga team that got relegated, and lost his place in the national team. How is the all-powerful Gino going to square this one off? Answers on a postcard please...
I guess why he's not listed in the squad. Seems cut and dried. So we are down to success and okaka as the reserve strikers to cover any injuries.
But there must be something. Duxbury seemed pretty certain at the At Your Place(?) event and they've gone to the hassle of bringing him over this time to train with the squad. They must have had legal advice and be confident that he's going to be eligible soon. It's a bit weird that he's here, on a contract with the club but can't actually work! So are we not paying him?
