surely no MK fan would pay actual money to watch spuds v twatford rezzies?

Similar without the segregation 9th January 1974 Hendon V Newcastle Fa cup third round replay, played on a Wednesday afternoon at The Vic due to a power shortage couldn't play it in the evening!

As they have not sold out, I don't see why supporters with a record of home attendances should not be allowed to buy a ticket.

That's just to do with tickets not going on general sale though. I expect the club know there are loads of Arsenal fans on our database with a home buying history.

Has your mate not been to one away game since 2014 to make it into category D?

One of only two matches I can remember going to at Vicarage Road as a neutral. The other was the Amateur Cup semi-final Slough Town v Bishops Stortford the year before.

Think about it, you live in the asshole, middle of nowhere, then one day, out of the blue, a pale imitation of a football club pops up on the outskirts of your town.

After a decade or so of being a diehard fanatic of this nonentity club, two teams who play in the promised land of fake football fannery, the Premier League, pop up in your town to play a midseason friendly/training Match.

The promise of a half and half scarf, maybe seeing a footballer who's been on the telly actually in the flesh and the skill of the likes if Isaac Success and Sebastian Prodl would have your gusset dripping.

    No unfortunately not.
When we both lived in Oxhey, he did go to a few, I can remember Bournemouth and also Oldham, and there where others, but that was in the late sixties early seventies.
He comes to the odd home game with me again now, but he is not what you would call a diehard supporter but he is still Watford, and as this is local to us , I mentioned that I was going, and he replied "I wouldn't mind going to that with you".
Well he is coming with me, but still will have no away record.

I refer my honourable friend to the 'what makes a true supporter' discussion in the Watford v Man Utd thread.

  15. Levy's pitching the match to them from a "Twatford rezzies are better than their PL first team" point of view.

Anyone who's ever bought a ticket to a MK Dons game is now being offered the chance to buy 4 tickets each.

Well done Spurs and the EFL.

I recall a game from the days of timeless FA Cup ties a replay between Colchester and possibly AFCB taking place at the Vic.
It was chosen as a neutral venue with the winners then progressing to play us in the next round. I watched from the paddock in front of the Main Stand.

I did as well. Not many went as there was only a few thousand fans. Think it was decided to play at Watford because its virtually equal distance between the two towns.

I spoke last night in the pub with more than one MK Dons supporter that I know, and I can quite categorically tell you that They cannot get tickets for this match.

One particular friend of mine who is a MKD season ticket holder and wanted to go and see this match was told, "This is a Tottenham home match, and no MK Dons supporters are able to buy tickets through this club".

A gulf between the teams, not least in quality of hair cut.

    McDonald a stand out here.

I was hoping for Oxhey67 to score the fifth.

A lot of non-league teams doing well in FA Cup seemed to wear green shirts, at the time normally goalkeepers only.
Hereford as honourable exceptions, but Hendon , Yeovil, Blyth Spartans and Leatherhead.
