I read in the papers they could be allowed to play at another ground if Spurs manage to beat us!

How badly behind is their news stadium? Are we going to see Wembley type delays...

Guess the chances of it being on TV are low given that pool v Chelsea is the same day.

Will we put out the first 11 anyway? Surely this will be a similar Watford to the last round vs spurs reserves???

£5 for me and I will. Dons won't make much out of me and I'll have the one and only chance of seeing a Prem team playing at their overlarge stadium

That's a good thing, it means there's less danger of the great lake of shameless corpulence which is the "sitting section", humiliating the club on national television.

Should have gone to the RFU and hosted at Twickers.

Cant wait for this. Our reserves are better than our first eleven.

There are lots of issues. Most embarrassingly is that the IT is not working. Hewlett Packard have been promoting as the most technologically innovative stadium in the world. Oops.

Mr IBB heard from boardroom level that it was a safety risk too.

So in the space of 6 months I'll have been to an away league match and an away cup match with Spurs at Wembley and Milton Keynes. Shambolic.

An electrician I know was offered work on the stadium about three months ago with a promise of that job continuing through to the New Year as that's when they think it'll be ready.

Amongst all the *********ry with the stadium, the most annoying aspect is that they clearly knew some time ago it was never going to be ready and all this surprise safety issue is just to try and save face.

Then why not have HP Tomato Ketchup?
Anybody shop at Morrisons, their "The Best" Tomato ketchup is worth trying, much better in my view than the big branded versions.

I read on some stadium construction forum that the big problem they're having is a major design fault - apparently the area where the coaches drive inside the stadium is too low to fit vehicles of a certain height.

The simple task of increasing the height cannot be done (not quickly) due to all the crucial wiring/electronics etc that now sit directly above this entrance. I know almost zero about construction, so I don't understand how this was missed at the design stage, unless things are being rushed to the point that plans are being changed constantly without going through whatever the correct process is. Of course, it could be a load of rubbish made up by a fan of a rival club.

Whatever the truth, the whole thing is an embarrassing mess for them, which I'm sure will all be glossed over by Levy when it finally opens.

Tickets made available to MK dons members/season ticket holders. Lolz.

But still unavailable for Watford fans with a record of home attendance, but not away.
I have a friend in that situation, who would like to use the game to get an away game under his belt, but I had to use another friend of mine's fan id to get him a ticket.
    Spurs can't give them away.
MK Dons can't give them away.
Watford won't sell one to a genuine supporter. Just a joke of a decision.

Why should home attendance have anything to do with eligibility for away tickets?

  31. wfcmoog

    wfcmoog Tinpot

It should, insofar as a Watford home fan is more deserving of a ticket than a neutral who lives near the stadium.

This. Doesn't sit right. But it was probably part of the agreement to let Spurs play there.

  33. UEA_Hornet

But no neutral who lives near the stadium is getting a ticket in the Watford end either. Their tickets are from the Spurs allocation.

Laughably it looks like the MK fans are going to be in their own little segregated section in the top tier. Hopefully Watford and Spurs fans both take the piss out of them.

To be fair, a lot of MK Dons' die hard season ticket holding ultras are probably Spurs fans. Except when they play Barcelona or Man Utd.

Has that ever happened at a football match before? Three sets of fans all of which segregated.
