Goetterdaemmerung could work for them, but it's a bit long. Or they could try Z-Cars. That did the trick for us.
Perfect! Marching out to Wagner would make our lads feel 10 feet tall & also attract ERG sympathisers into the fanbase.
Don't think the ERG would be keen on that Wagner. He was some kind of foreigner. Ethel Smyth's "The Wreckers" is more their kind of thing, except that she was both a woman and a lesbian
For our first round draw vs Ashgabat Academicals. Today’s result has, unfortunately, made Boreham Wood more likely adversaries that day.
Anyone watch the 30 mins sky highlights last night? When they ran through the teams they mentioned that Hogg played for us in the 2013 play-off final 6 years ago "while he was there on loan".. Hilarious. But of course true.
Will be interesting to see which other posters disappear the same day. I will be leaving my login details with Mrs TUT so I can be properly mourned on this site. I will expect my own thread, esp given you are all my only true friends in this world.
It would have been nice to have had a prematch presentation with you two yesterday. Exchanging pennants & pleasantries. The recognition the forum deserves.
A tidy club and good fans. We didn't do anything exceptional, if anything we played within ourselves, but did a job. Capoue was everywhere and won his tackles, Sema was caught out time and time again defending, or ball watching, other than that it was an OK performance. Another day Hogg would have got a red as Hughes was just to quick and too good for him. He was subbed very quickly after he got away with a 2nd yellow 3 hours each way, so a decent journey as well.
Just remembered, at KO Foster kicked the ball into the crowd as he always does and it caught someone in the face. Foster looked genuinely shocked and came over to say he'd give the person his shirt after the game. Don't know if he did or not as we were straight out at full time.
It looked to me like it hit the back of a little lad who was being held up by his Dad for a photo. Was not far in front of me, just to my left.
