Are we supposed to boo if we come back from 3-0 down?

 

To build a decent squad of 25 actually takes time, something that our Managers have never been given in recent years, if Silva is here for a few seasons he would have managed to weed out the players who basically don't give a @@@@ and then when we have the type of injuries and suspensions we have we will be better off, by having better replacements or replacements who actually care ie Mariappa type players coming in!

 

I've defended Holebas in the past but yesterday was just inexcusable. A complete lack of commitment to the cause is insulting all those that paid to watch. Scratch the surface of our team and we really are very average with players just along for a well paid ride.

 

Mirrors Silva's lack of commitment to the cause though!

 

100% this, some of the others were terrible but at least they were in the right position to **** it up

 

Accommodating Prodl back into the team has ****ed us up. He looks terrible and slow but also it meant moving Kabasele out of the centre to the left, where he looks far less effective.

We should drop Prodl (and, IMHO opinion, move him on in Jan, as he ain't going to get any quicker), move Kab back into the middle and put Britos back in on the left

 

I agree I was really looking forward to seeing him coming back into the team but he has not been the same player, looks slow and gives silly fouls away.

Well my wife ain’t happy , I have been pissed off since 3:06 yesterday , **** knows what Mood I will be in over Christmas when we loose yet again next Saturday.

I have to be honest my opinions aren’t worth ****, I wanted to keep Silva - but now consider him to have no bottle and be spineless useless ****, when we set up to attack we look great, but when we leave deeney up front by himself we look ****.

I defended deeney - but the fat **** (and I am myself a little overwight) needs to stop grinning at the camera and lead our ******* team out of this **** storm

Holebas - when he went down on his knee before the 3rd (?) goal typified everything said about him , he is so poor I can’t even be bothered to use expletives.

Capoue - **** off back to the championship where you will still be one division higher than your talent

(As said above don’t give a **** how they spell their names) Doucoure, Janmat , Rich, Pereya , Carrillo , Zeegelaar , Prodil - you are better than you performances suggest - you get paid a ******* fortune , stop acting like spoilt ****s , stop fowling , stop moaning , do your ******* job

Kiko -I thought you were ******* ace - when you walked off last week leaving us with 9 and couldn’t even be arsed to stand on the sideline to support your team - you are ******* dead to me.

Gray , I actually think you couldn’t hit the goal if it was 3 times bigger, however I also think we look better when you are on the pitch. So stop ****ing around and spend the next 5 days 10yards out practicing kicking a ball

Gomes , I still consider you to be a top, top man, but you now know what you have to do, before the next match you need to break Holebas and Capoue legs , it’s easy you just go in for a big save , bit of an accident , job is done, get Britos to help he knows how to make a high tackle

Officals , it ain’t your fault we keep loosing , it’s ours, but stop ******* up every big decision , if ever there was a need for a video ref it’s when a useless gob***** cockhead can’t spot at least 2 offsides and then gives a goal.

To our medical team - I don’t know you, you don’t know me - but for **** sake we need to have some players on the pitch , where the **** are Hughes and Chalobah

To Gino, it ain’t your fault you have given us a lot, but you need to make it clear the next person that gets a stupid red card gets either a £250k fine or sacked - we have been for the last 3 years a bunch of moaning , fowling , unprofessional **** heads. Respect for not selling Silva - you did what most of us thought was the right thing, but come on it might be time to have him kneecapped.

 

Cheating and conning the referee/manipulating him so they are sympathetic, etc are all skills which might be acquired by planning, organisation and practice. But if you do them badly they are counter-productive. There is, of course, the morality aspect of it, but there are plenty of other teams who have it down to a fine art.

 

No. Prodl is way below his best, but there's no reason to believe he won't regain form. Briton has shown over a long period that he's lost it, and is hot-headed to boot. We need to replace him with another left-footer

 

I think he needs coaching - things like getting good crosses in early are at least partly down to that. Also with his cowardly challenges - he chickens out frequently and needs training in how to do it properly. He is one of Watford's most talented players in some respects but needs help with some of the Premiership's more physical aspects.

Some of our squad and, no doubt, many others in the professional game are high on ability but have a distinct LOMF.

 

No - surely it works one way.

 

Given that one in twelve people is left handed/footed that in itself is no easy task.
Britos is a mistake waiting to happen but he does,as onion states,allow for a more balanced line up.Replacing him will not be straightforward.
I am left footed but until I reach 80 plus do not have a beard.
My best game is 25 years away!

 

Having got home today after weekend at parents and now watched the weekends highlights First Goal was almost as bad a decision as the phantom Reading goal If Deeneys tackle was a red card thre Ali should be banned for life for his tackle in the City game as well as Kane.

Sick of the Silva out crap Injures and suspensions are our issue And as i said straight after the Game Capoue needs to **** off and not come back i think Silva is the right man for the Job and ill be at Brighton Cheering us on

Mariappa - Left and came back
Capoue- Left ball behind
Gray- Left Burnley (unfortunately)
Britos- Left a few broken legs
Success- Left without paying
Holebas- Left on the ground holding his face
Deeney- Left gutted

 

Not necessarily my idea of a central defender, though

 

But are you left-handed too, IBB? My son manages to have the worst of all worlds - left-handed, right-footed, plays golf left-handed...

I can see that their relative scarcity gives left-footed outfield players an easier route into the profession, but I don't understand why - by my reckoning - more than 50% of goalkeepers I've seen are left-footed.

Any comments, Malts?

 

I do everything left sided apart from play tennis,which is infuriating as lefties have a huge advantage on the court.
The way things are going we will need a couple of footballing millipedes on Saturday,never mind a left footed centre half!

 

We definitely need to ship Capoue out. This was a great chance for him but he facked it. Left Doucoure to do all the work. We lost the midfield to their pressing within first 5 minutes. Holebas showed a shocking lack of concentration early on and his conduct involving their third was a joke...also ship out. Despite being a club legend Deeney also has to go. We need two defenders - CB and LB, another midfielder and a striker. Want Zarate recalled in January. Hope Silva can sort some of the poor discipline, attitude and alarming tendency to lose defensive shape when we concede before Brighton.

 

Easier said than done seeing he signed a five year contract last September!

Given our slump started when Silva was tapped up just before the Everton game, I’d recommend the board approach Hughton, quickly followed by Puel and then Clement.

That should get us back on track.

Capoue is getting a hammering, but you have to allow that he's not going to be fully match fit. I didn't see him as being that bad. He did what he could and ran and tackled. The trouble is he can't seem to get his head up and pick the killer passes forward like Chalobah or Cleverley.

The one that really deserves the blame is Holebas. He had a hand in our conceding the first three we leaked yesterday. The third one, obviously. What a wimp. If he could have worried about the team rather than himself for a fraction of a second more, he might have toe-ended the ball to Doucoure or even out of play and then done his dying swan act at his leisure.

The second one too. Flat footed and standing watching while their player chased down their pass forward. Then trotted back and waved an airy fairy foot in the general direction of their player as he put his cross in. It was barely worthy of the name 'challenge'. Absolutely pathetic.

Even the first one, notice how he gets too easily shoved out of the way in the mellee and then finds himself unable to assist in any further defending.

Absolute dire shyte. Doesn't that lad Brandon Mason play full back on that side? I'd honestly play him until Zeegallar's back or the January window is open and we can buy someone who perhaps gives half a sh1t.

At the same time we can get rid of Holebas, his sneering bad attitude and his pathetic Private Walker co-respondent spiv moustache to anyone who'll have him.

 

Can we get Nordin back?

 

He’s been one of our better players this season but had Tom put away his penalty at Everton and then stayed on the pitch at Palace we’d more than likely have 4 more points than we do.

Fine margins and all that.
