Am assuming that’s based on Whoscored ratings . Great to see the stats describe what we ve all witnessed empirically .
The new investors needed to be consulted that's why there has been a delay. American takeover will be announced imminently. Apparently Elton put the deal together on the US side. Things are changing.
No one involved with WFC in any official capacity should read this forum (unless they have an interest in Swedish taxation).
Saw another stat on Sky last night that said we are second worst in the league at converting "big chances". We seem to scoring frequently so we must be creating a lot of chances.
The only thing that surprises me is that we are second worse. We've done well in the scoring charts because we were scoring "goal of the month" type goals earlier in the season. That was never going to continue and the "bread and butter" type goals would have to be improved upon. We do not have a clinical finisher in the squad, which is going to be our downfall in the long term. I think we are generally poor in converting chances, and those high quality goals from the early part of the season has hidden that problem somewhat.
Sadly, after fluking yet another win against a championship side, he's probably gonna get even more time.
On the subject of managers out, Interesting stat on MOTD, Fulham have let in the second most goals in PL history at this stage of the season, 25!! Now I loved Joka and I loved our promotion season, but it appears our owners were right to want a safe pair of hands in our first season. Fulham have spent £100m and yet are still struggling, Joka has stuck to his gung-ho ways in the PL and it isn’t working. God only knows how it wouldve panned out with us, considering we only spent a fraction of what Fulham have.
Agreed, I am sure some would argue they'd rather lots of goals even if it resulted in defeat because it would be more exciting but I don't subscribe to that thought. I still think Fulham will stay up but I also think it's right that QSF made us difficult to beat in that first season because otherwise that promotion season would have meant nothing (especially as we didn't finish champions)
Did you see the state of his ill-fitting tk maxx suit? He looked like a kid on his first day of senior school, gurning away while his parents took a photo. Get OUT.
My sources say he's lost the dressing room and the players are essentially managing and motivating themselves. He sits at the training ground in silence like a PTSD suffers whilst Gray and Holebas lead the troops. Allegedly.
Can't work out for the life of me why you lot have got it in for Javi. Apart from the loss to muff, he has done a good job, especially yesterday. It must be very disheartening for him to read these comments. After that great result, he must be looking on here to see if we are a bit happier with him. Some on here remind me of spoilt brats at Christmas, no matter what presies they are given, they are never satisfied and just keep whinging. Whingers get out and leave the club to the true fans!
Do you honestly think any of the criticism on here since the start of the season is serious? And do you really believe he reads this forum? Honest questions. I also can't understand why you believe anyone who dares to make criticism isn't a true fan?
Ok, if the criticism isn't serious, then why criticise? I don't necessarily believe that he reads this forum, but I think that if I was head coach of a team that was doing well, I might be a bit tempted to have a look and see what the fans are saying, but who knows? I certainly do not think that anyone who makes criticism is not a true fan, I am just as guilty of doing the same, just that in this case I think it is a little unjustified, or at least a bit premature. Lastly, I did not make the post to have a dig at anyone else on this forum, it is not my wish to stir up ill feeling, but I do wish we could get behind our head coach. We all seem to be behind him and the team when there on match day.
Can Gracia continue his great work without the curse of the three year contract which afflicted the Mazzarri era?
How dare you - do you really think Javi shops at TKMaxx? I have it on good authority that his suit is from a top label fashion house called ‘George’. And it doesn’t fit cos all the swiping on here is causing him sleepless nights and weight loss.
