Global Werewolf - Day 6

The representatives had spent the weekend thinking about the events of the previous week. How can so many good players have died and only one evil?

At some point over the weekend, Athens had been researching the previous week’s play at the Parthenon. The Parthenon was once a focal point of a once great empire. Now it lay in ruins. It was a fitting place for Athens to seek refuge while their world continued to crumble at the paws of the wolves.

Whilst deep in thought, Athens failed to notice the wolf enter the former Temple. He approached Athens and gave him a fright. Athens panicked and backed up against a pillar. The wolf continued to close in. Athens pleaded, his voice shaky, ‘Witness this wolf, I stand here unarmed. Please spare me!’. But the wolf was uninterested. He severed the head of Athens with one slash of the right claw. Blood spurted out of Athens body as it fell to the floor. The blood was red. Athens was good.

Elsewhere, the other wolf travelled to Norway to pay Oslo a visit. Something felt eerily familiar to the wolf. ‘Why does this visit remind me of my trip to Berlin?’ the wolf asked themselves.

The wolf climbed the hill to the Royal Palace and entered Oslo’s home. Oslo too had been trying to piece together the events of the previous week and was caught off guard by the wolf’s visit, ‘You killed my brother Berlin and now you’ve come for me – I won’t go without a fight’.

However Oslo was no match for the powerful beast who had fed so well during the week. He overpowered Oslo and killed him with a claw to the throat. Oslo’s blood poured out – it was red. Oslo was good.

Now only 5 players remained – 3 good and 2 wolves. How would the remaining good players catch the wolves without a seer? They needed to figure this out and quickly. They knew that if a wolf wasn’t lynched today it was game over – the werewolves would cause havoc around the world once again.

Today's game will finish at 5pm. No comments after 5pm and final vote cut-off by 5.10pm.

 

I am voting Tokyo.

 

Would anyone have an objection to having today's game end brought forward to 3pm and if a wolf is killed, then we start the final day shortly after and run it for a reduced amount of time? An hour or two?

 

I've done little but go after Tokyo the last 2 days yet I'm still surviving the nights. That wouldn't happen if he were the Wolf. You also threw your traitor under the bus to save yourself on Friday nice and early.

I think we all felt Quito had to be evil. I misread their efforts as a bluff to try and make themselves look like a traitor, but we have to admit, it was pretty risky at that point to go for anyone else.

You are confirmed good, if I read it right, so if you waste your vote, we lose. End of the game.

I haven't the foggiest on who to vote. Tokyo or Nairobi. If Istanbul is evil he has played a blinder.

Ending the day early suits me but I have a work meeting 3-4pm so would be AWOL for that hour if we resume.

 

Once @Istanbul confirms the 3pm works for him I will update the end time and then look to restart from around 4-6pm.

The Beta Ive not yet decided, but my main suspicion is Moscow. I could be wrong on that Moscow, so apologies if that is so and am happy to hear why you think Im wrong, but first things first we need to kill the alpha.

Venice is proved good. I know Im good and anyone else should see very clearly that Im good.

We re both voting Nairobi so the remaining good player you need to vote with me and Venice otherwise the wolves will force a tie and we may lose.

So we have 1 confirmed good (Venice) and 4 unknowns left. I know I'm good but seem to only be able to convince you when cornered as I have in the last 2 days. If only because I know it's a waste of time I hope we don't end up doing the same thing again later. Either move the spotlight to someone else or lynch me and we lose the game.

And for those who haven't noticed, Nariobi has already voted for me.

 

Mosocw, if you are good you must vote Nairobi, otherwise Good will lose.

 

Yes Tokyo, if you are good then you should be able to deduce that Nairobi is Evil which is why heis voting for you.

If you are good, which I believe you are, you should vote with the confirmed good which is Venice who has stated he is voting Nairobi

Something is odd. I was named by the Seer as good on day 3 and there have been 6 wolf kills since then yet here I still am. That only happens when the Wolves see you ignoring them, supporting them or fastidiously going after a non wolf, (either that or Norn has given me the power not to die which believe it or not I'm actually beginning to suspect)!

On day 2 the wolf named Nairobi as good. That message was there as soon as the day began, literally 9.03am. It's a brilliant Wolf ploy and I said straight away that we shouldn't lynch any of the named players that day.

I'm voting Nairobi eartly, IE now. If you're good you won't hesitate. If you're evil you will.

I retract my earlier comment. Congrats Moscow - you deserved it. Tokyo was lucky that everyone was dumb enough to not vote for him, despite being obviously evil.

Nope. You really did get sold a pup by the people you foolishly listened to.

Istanbul actually won this game for Team Evil. He has been like a traitor throughout, dominating threads with half baked theories and finally convincing people to follow him. It's been impossible for good to win against that backdrop.

Only 5 players remained and it was vital they found a wolf today to stand any chance of saving mankind.

However, the players quickly came to their decision. They would be visiting Kenya to perform what could be a final lynching. Moscow, Tokyo, Venice and Istanbul closed in on Nairobi’s home.

They found a weary Nairobi, exhausted having fought hard over the past few days. This would be an easy kill. ‘You have done it again! You’re going to kill a good player and lose the game’ pleaded Nairobi but no-one listened.

Tokyo asked if he could do the honours and he was handed the gun. With one shot, Nairobi was dead. Blood started to pour out and to Istanbul and Venice’s horror, the blood was red. Nairobi was good.

Tokyo turned with his gun to face Venice and Istanbul. They no longer had the numbers to fend off the wolves. They tried to flee but it was no good – Tokyo shot both and they again bled red. Venice and Istanbul were good.

The clock struck midnight and Tokyo transformed to his natural state, that of a gigantic beast. The Alpha turned to face Moscow who had similarly transformed, albeit in to a slightly smaller beast. They shook paws. Their work was done. The resistance was no more.

EVIL had won.
