Don't really want a Premier League team for the same reason of not wanting a Championship club when we were in the Championship.
At this stage, someone easy and beatable, for example one of the lower-division teams who always knock us out of the League Cup.
I think we'll get Sunderland away.....so they can end their year long run without a win at home. Their last win was against Watford!! That's how football works.
I think we’ve ball 41. As for opponents I’m not overall fussed. Bournemouth again might be a good day out away.
Can't edit full stop.. well not after the 15 minute window. For those hoping to go to new grounds i just checked and i believe the only club that has gone through so far, who we've never played at their current ground, is Newport County. There are a few where we have only played friendly's such as MK Dons, Shrewsbury and Afc Wimbledon, plus a few more involved in replays.
The FA cup always throws up some irony, an ex player, bitter ex manager etc. Therefore I expect Everton Or Arsenal
Sheff Wed. Give all the pre-pubescent boys we have as fans a chance to fawn over FF, assuming he still plays for them?
Has Peter Beadle been a castaway on a tropical island? EDIT: Mind you it's clearly an island with a bountiful supply of pies.
Some cracking all Premier League games for the bbc to pick from for their live broadcast, the stand out one being Man utd v Derby.
Can't ask for more than a home draw v lower league opposition I suppose. Plus a few premier league teams will go out this round. It's our ******* year!
Bristol City,,. Our big promotion rivals of the 97/98 season from Football Division 2. Made us look like a fifth tier side in the Moose "who cares about it anyway" Cup. Revenge? Hmmm, perhaps but I hope we put out a strong side and show them what the Premiership is really all about instead of that half-ar$ed performance last time. We really need to start winning more at home, and I know we have played three of the big four at home, but beating them by a big scoreline would be awesome.
At a wedding on FA Cup weekend so quite pleased it's a crap draw, but one we have a chance of winning. Lets play the first team. We're not going down, we're not getting into Europe, lets at least give this competition a go.
Unfortunately none of the top 6 have been drawn together. Liverpool-Everton is the biggest banana skin.
From the Beeb: For the first time since 2005, a Manchester United match in the FA Cup will not be shown live on television. Ha! Bore-inho indeed.
