DAY 4 - Werewolf 2018

The smoke that billowed from wfcmoog's charred corpse had engulfed the entire village, through fear of choking the villagers hurriedly ran home to escape the poisonous smoke. As the night wore on the smoke finally cleared leaving a thin veneer of ash on the ground which under the street lights made it appear like a thin layer of snow. Otter's snowplough stood at the far end of the village was long abandoned by its late owner.

A furry creature emerged from the darkness and headed straight for domthehornet’s house. He shimmied up the drainpipe and slipped in through an open window. The wolf saw domthehornet sound asleep but with a cricket bat in one hand held across his chest. The wolf saw other cricket equipment on the floor, he picket up a ball and threw it with all his might at domthehornet’s shin. The pain woke him, the wolf growled, "LBW" in a diabolical way. Domthehornet leapt from his bed and swung the cricket bat but it didn’t connect. The wolf picked up a stump and threw it like a dart at domthehornet, the force of the stump pierced his chest and pinned him to the wall. Then a second and third stump was thrown, the last of which flew into his mouth and through the back of his head.

Domthehornet was GOOD

Two characters marched through the village their paw prints were left in the ash in perfect harmony leading to the house of HappyHornet24, they waited and listened, the whole village had an eerie silence. One of the two stepped forward and ripped the door from its hinges and beckoned the other to enter with him. Silence wasn't on the agenda tonight, maximum destruction was on their mind, their wild instincts were at a crescendo as they intended to follow wfcmoog's final instructions. They growled and snarled as they made their way upstairs but to their surprise she was not there. In desperation they hunted high and low through the entire house, in each room, under each bed, in the attic, the shed, everywhere. The only thing that struck them as odd was a life size statue of her in the living room. The statue was very lifelike despite the grey colour but one wolf soon realised that this statue had more about it than it first seemed. The eyes. The eyes, they were real, they had fear in them as they glistened, there was also an empty blue bottle in the statue's hand. One wolf swiped with his claws but the howl of pain came from the wolf who's claws had been torn off as they dragged past the stone. By now both wolves were thrashing and smashing themselves and other objects against the statue but it remained undamaged.

One wolf had an idea, he held up his paws to indicate he would be back in 5 minutes. The wolf dashed home and soon found what he was looking for, a sledgehammer, he held it up and smiled. Just as he was leaving he could smell something was wrong, he looked around and there was Meh, what was Meh doing in the wolf's house? The angry wolf swung the sledgehammer hard against Meh's leg, it shattered and Meh fell in terrible agony, the wolf wanted to get back to his night's target so finished of Meh with one more ferocious blow.

Meh was GOOD

Returning to the frenzy, the wolf saw that the other had made no headway on the statue and were tiring, the wolf wielding the sledgehammer swung it around and smashed it into HappyHornets24's head, the noise and dust took a few seconds to settle but the wolf was surprised that the sledgehammer was broken beyond repair and that the statue was still in one perfect piece. By now the sun started to rise and the wolves transformed back into their human selves. They didn't need to say anything as they saw each other, they just left and went their separate ways before any other villager woke.

Back in the living room the stone began to crumble and HappyHornet emerged unharmed from the relentless attack but could not remember a thing. Still holding the empty blue bottle, it had a label on it saying "Enjoy a drink, An Admirer", she was in shock to see a mess everywhere and that the front door had been taken away. In shock but alive.

A taxi arrived in the square and out came Harrow Orn, he hobbled out with a pair of crutches and headed home.

I will not be around between 8:20am & 9am and my appearance will be sporadic after 5pm.

The village will close after all 12 votes are in or 8pm which ever is sooner.

Eek. Another twist? What's that statue about?

I presume Meh was visiting HH which was rubbish luck. He was known good so that's particularly annoying.

Never had any doubts about Dom so again, disappointing.

Seems like there is definitely 3 wolves. But we don't know if that's 3 wolves and a traitor or the traitor was converted?

 

Oh ****. That's the risk with the Harlot though.

 

Definitely 3 wolves can't think of any other option for that .
Really bad news we have lost Meh, we need to go back and examine his suspicions of yesterday .
Statue ? Another one out of Otters box of surprises .

PJ is my number 1 suspect now. Interactions with him yesterday make me very very suspicious.

Glad Dom is dead as if im being honest, he did himself no favours yesterday and would have been a big suspect.

No idea how Happy is still alive.

 

so it looks like Moog may have been the traitor ?

How did HH24 survive with out the guardian ?

On the plus side we haven't lost anyone very good.

 

Meh was at the wolves house though, unless he chose to be sacrificial

 

Ok Ok Harrow my apologies eating my slice of humble pie now , sorry for doubting you and will give your input much more consideration.

 

Wolf went home to pick up a sledgehammer and found Meh there.

So, Meh just visited a wolf and died. Thats it.

If we can find any clues as to who he was going to visit, then we may find a wolf that way. There is no way he would have visited HH. Not when he knew the wolves were after her.

When i was it last game, unless Otter's abilities are different a Harlot shouldn't let you sacrifice yourself for another. I read it as him staying in the Wolf's house and therefore is killed due to it. The question is who did Meh trust enough to stay in a Wolf's house for me, though as you say how HH24 wasn't killed is something I don't know either.

Maybe a Wolf chose Meh, but even though they weren't home they stayed at a Wolf's house? Write up doesn't mention it though so probably not.

 

I think Meh was trusting you...

I'm going to throw a wild spanner in the works, sorry Norway

Day 1 & day 2 only 2 wolves went to attack
On day 2 a villager licked the blood from a wolf
I can only guess that one of the wolves had a choice to make turn a good player bad ( last night we had 3 wolves out on the kill )
If I was in that position I would have chosed someone who had already been confirmed as good, Meh or Norway
I'm not saying that has happened, that's just what I would have done
Meh was now know died as good.
So Norway hs gone from being definitely good to probably good

Being werewolf don't take anything for granted

 

So yes Moog must have been the traitor. That means someone good and presumably an ordinary villager with no powers was turned into wolf 3.

That unfortunately means Norway is no longer confirmed definitely good I think?

There was no mention of whether the 2 wolves that went to HH met each other for the first time so that might have been the same Turner and Turnee? Is it possible there's a wolf in training say who goes along with the one that converted them and doesn't kill on their own? Because they went together I think?

 

Also, is it possible Harrow as guardian was able to protect HH from his hospital bed?

 

Credit where it's due, Moog is damm good. He was one of the four who I became suspicious of after the first day with the inexplicable voting of Diamond but he certainly succeeded in swaying me away from those early thoughts. Back to those four in a minute.

Agree with Harrow's list of likely suspects and his comment about Dom, he was on my list too.

Before momentum builds up against me too much I voted Harrow yesterday before all the revelations involving the seer's signatures and of course Opti's heroics. I'm seven hours ahead I have to vote early.

The four who voted off Diamond who I was suspicious of were moog who led the lynching, powerjugs, nornironhorn and steve harrow.

 

Subsequent to the first day Squibba and WAS, with their almost total lack of involvement, cause me to suspect them.

 

Aye, however like you I voted moog before the gunslinger event when hh24 explained the Seer's code which debunct my own theory of Seer code. I've been as transparent as I can with my thought process wheb it comes to my voting nor have I hidden the fact that I was sure moog was Good at points given what we knew at times, as others did too.

 

Meh is a huge loss for team good. Now we cannot know who he viewed and thus who is definitely good.

On day 1, I suspected PJ and Moog. I still suspect PJ.

However, the most suspicious player in the game at the moment for me is CB.

They have been minimal in their posting but are omnipresent, reply to accusations with one or two words and keep below the radar.

I also think he’s the kind of player who Meh would try to stay with.

Seer, look at CB today.

 

I think you’re the only person Meh wouldn’t have stayed with yesterday.

He knew the wolves were coming for you.

 

Maybe we could get a clue if we knew who Happys secret admirer was ? Really cool and unexpected that was . there has to be more things to take note of in this mornings write up .
We know there are 3 wolves ,we know we lost the harlot ,we have empty blue bottles HH24 going into full on statue mode!
Makes you wonder what other other surprises we will have to day.

 

Wolves dont know but often its easy for them to find out.

I completely forgot about Squibba by the way. Since I pressured him hes gone a bit quiet.

 

A) Look at my posts where I deduced it was better to vote for Moog yesterday over Harrow.

I’m pretty proud of the logic to kill Moog as it would tell us more, and that wouldn’t be done by team evil.

If you protect yourself tonight, we will know whether you are the guardian or not. If you don't, you cannot come out with the excuse that you are the tinker. You will be confirmed evil.

B) I refused to go with Moog on the first day, as Diamond was clearly a valuable player for team Good, despite Moog trying to recruit.

C) I thought you were hiding something yesterday AM. But the second you gave your seer logic, I voted for Moog immediately. It would make no sense to go in that early, if I was on team evil.

Seriously?! Right, apologies Seer, you're going to have to find a new way of giving us clues:...

"Serious smarts. I'm going for Moog. I was 50-50, but this would be too much of a coincidence if fabricated.

If Moog is good, then Harrow has to be killed tomorrow. No ifs. No buts. No 'Oh! Look at the new shiny messages!'

By the end of tomorrow, we need to have got rid of, at best an evil and at worst a tinker, who has the potential to confuse."

 

By the way theres a reason I didn't want to tell you why I protected HH. Was pretty sure she was the seer and tried to hint that by not telling you. Those who kept asking me I hope were not evil players trying to get info off me.
