Shaqiri has had attitude and commitment issues at every club he's had since leaving Basel, and there's a reason he's been gradually stepping downwards, club by club. Stoke fans say he appears good from the outside because he'll pop up once a month with a performance where he can be bothered and might score a worldie if you're lucky, but that he's mostly lazy and, as others have pointed out, defensively profligate. Really sounds like the worst possible kind of player to be bringing into our dressing room.

That’s what some have said about Capoue but JG has him playing like Kante.

    Gracia the maverick whisperer?

We might have stayed up had we signed him. Missed opportunity.

Indeed. I have a dream of a full vicarage road with every single attendee wearing a gabbiadini mask. It would be beautiful. Perhaps that's what heaven is.

He’s only on loan there from Monaco (so technically can go for him whatever) but if Huddersfield go down, I wouldn’t mind going for Terence Kongolo who plays for them in defence. Left sided CB who is very highly rated.

You should add that to the loanees thread... sounds like this time he'll be with Valladolid first team, rather than last year when he played for their B team in the Spanish third division. Will be very interesting to see if he can make an impact in La Liga.
