Well - from as much as you can take from a tweet - that isn’t how I’ve read it. He’s young, Columbian and got nowhere near enough percentage points to be here next season. If we can convince the Home Office otherwise, I’d bet he’s here. If we can’t, he’ll be out on loan again probably in La Liga. But if there’s the volume of interest being claimed by Duxbury and from the club claimed by other sources, no way will Gino sell him this early on in the process. Makes no sense whatsoever to do so.

I think we need to be patient with Penaranda, he's got a lot of potential but the last couple of seasons moving around from country to country and coach to coach will have held back his development. Needs a lot of work and I don't imagine he will be starting any time soon.

Duxbury was due but didn't show and Hughes was also due but was ill eek so it was TD, Andy Scott and Tommy Smith.

Little to report and no real answers to the some of the questions raised about late goals conceded and not picking up other teams subs who have scored v us in last 3 games.

TD did say
1/ he would prefer to play with a partner but its the managers decision
2/ individual mistakes have cost us in last 4/5 games (presumably including his penalty miss at Arsenal)
3/ the "damage" was done earlier in the season with Silva and so many injuries
4/ his favourite Watford moment was leading his team out at Wembley in the semi v Palace and scoring there

TD did stay on after the other two had left and chatted to everyone

He then left and got in his private helicopter which had landed in St Albans road by the Wishing Well

In all seriousness, I would hope an explaination was given in his absence. As the club seem to be making a big deal of these events and it would be pretty poor form for him to no-show without a given reason.
