I love the fact guys go out of your way to try and find ways to trip me up. You've done it for years, yet have never been successful. Doing the same thing time after time and getting the same result.....I'm sure that means something!!

Anyway, when someone like Malts types his little facts over matches, do you go chasing him around asking where he got that information from? Nope.....it's just nice to see. Who cares where he researched it from, or do you think he carries around in his head?

Not sure what your problem is, and others like you, carrying around little vendetta's for reasons only known to yourself. I find it very strange, that the same few posters always act like this. You've not moved on from day one of posting on this forum.

I saw something on Twitter, then researched it to see if it was true. Once I had verified it I posted it. I thought it would be interesting for others to read. Attitudes on here are really bizarre.

Only in your warped sense of view can that be distorted to mean something else.

Anyway.....if we do win the league, I'm going to get t-shirts printed with 11-8-19 printed on it, wipe it on my backside then send it to you. :D

  3. Get over yourself. You go flouncing off, then when the season is going far better than anyone expected, you come back full of yourself like the prodigal son, expecting us to kill the fatted calf.

And then, when you see a web article / Twitter / Reddit, rather than posting a link, you retype it here as ''all my own work".

    Sums you up.

Notoriously difficult to retain the title.

It's your attitude and others like you, that's the problem. Let people post in the style they want. You've tried to police this forum for years, yet have failed miserably. I remember when you used to try and correct every spelling mistake and did this to tedium.

If I read something on Twitter, I'm not going to post a link to that. Yesterday I was the first to post about Gracia being considered for a new contract. That had a link to it, as I ALWAYS link something in when I've read an article.

If I said something like...I bumped into Foster yesterday and he told me this is a private conversation “If a manager knows he has a keeper that isn’t comfortable with the ball at his feet, his team won’t be able to play that way, it won’t work,” “To be fair to [Javi Gracia] he knows I am OK with the ball at my feet, but I am very good at booming it 80 yards up the pitch. He is more than happy with me doing it the way I want to do it.” ...then you would have a point as I would be deliberately trying to pull the wool over your eyes.

You are seeing things that are not there, because you have a prejudicial view against the poster.

The reason I "flounced off" as you put it, was because I had enough of all the s*** that people like you create. Picking fights for no reason. I needed a break from it all. I come back, and you (and others 424, Going Down, Relegation Certs etc) all start up again. It's always the same few.

Not sure what you're trying to achieve, but I think most "normal" people can see right through it. You do not run this forum and never will....so jog on.

Could we not all just get on for a bit?
Top of the league and all that.
We get that you don't like each other online, I think no matter how much you write back and forth that isn't going to change.
But there should be space for everyone's views, doesn't need to descend into personal attacks, let it be.
If you don't like each other just ignore or skip that person's posts please

Glad to have you back HB1. I for one enjoy your posts. We need more people that offer balance on this forum.
It has, this is not due to HB1 however! It seems as soon as he posts people love to snipe....
I am more of a reader than a poster and it does seem that the keyboard warriors love to single this person out. Its actually really sad. Just let it go.
We all support the same team and for some reason have forgotten it is just a game we enjoy for fun!
HB1 normally posts balanced views and adds value to this board so rather than chase him away with torches and pitch forks add something of value or ignore his posts. simple

My response was more directed at Barry Endean. Apologies for not being clear.

Does anyone expect HB1 sat down and crunched all the numbers himself?

He saw it and put it on the forum before anyone else. If he didn't, someone else would have, with next to no grief/ accusations of plagiarism.

When the club is doing well, the forum does well, I hope ITKJim and Reids to return soon as well!

  15. Everyone has a right to post an opinion, it’s what our grandparents fire stormed cities like Koln to protect

That kind of behaviour really runs the risk of opposition fans coming on here and calling us embarrassing.

Back on topic: I really think City’s record points total is there for the taking, but we really can’t afford to slip up against worse teams like United.

    IF....
....we win vs Utd, we will have equalled the total number of wins under Boothroyd in full season 2006/7. After 5 games.
Another win and we would have equalled the number of wins under God in full season 1999/2000.

How many wins in a row until we're safe from relgation?

Im saying 1 more. Being left with 25 points to get from 33 games to acheive 40 points. You'd need to be utter rubbish to flunk that, its below relegation form.

Heart says of course we can do it, but head says it is unlikely.

However we can always live in hope, if Leicester can win the league then why not us

Isn’t it the other way round?

A strong forum motivates the players to excel?

No, at least not directly. A strong forum results in a lot more messages. More messages means that there is more telecommunication as the messages zip around the world. This creates an electro magnetic field which has the effect of drawing the moon ever so slightly closer to the earth. This, in turn, increases the moon's gravitational pull on the Earth which results in shots into the top corner by our opponents being pulled over the bar. It is why we have only conceded three goals this season, thereby winning games rather than drawing them.

In a parallel thought, how do our results now compare to 3 Stand Watford?

Under the Pozzo regime, it would have to be worse.
