Not quite - we will lose our 37th game.

I think we can do better than Arsenal, they drew a few games didn't they?

7th favourites to win the league

Probably still about 2nd favourites to go down but you can’t have everything

With Chalobah coming back I don't think we'll even concede another. I include all cups in that as well.

Never mind unbeaten, what about 100% record for the season.

Well at least it is still possible, roll on United

Javi sacked by Xmas because we drew 1 game. Beppe comes back to win the final 20 games without conceding.

Lest get 11 behind the ball in every remaining game and play for 34 draws just for a laugh.

Javi is riding his luck a bit. When we went behind yesterday I could feel the stadium on the brink of turning.

Fortunately for him, we scraped through, but you can't be lucky every week. The fans won't accept lucky wins against the likes of Spurs for long.

Blown chance of taking over at the top. Didn't ever look like winning by 3 goals.

Everton sack Ssssssilva after a run of poor results, then tap up Gracia, whose head is turned and our form plummets before Christmas....

That's not funny, as it may be close to the truth. A more likely scenario is that Silva slithers off to Manure when Boor-inho gets the boot and Everton look around for a replacement manager who is doing well ………...

To be fair Spurs were lucky to keep the score to single digits. You're right though, the boys had to get out of first gear yesterday, which is unacceptable.

We won 12 games in 2015/16 and 11 in both 2016/17 and 2017/18. Can we equal 2015/16's high point by the new year? 8 wins from 16 games required. Unlikely you'd think, but you never know!! COYH!!!!!!!

You're right. I can see us slipping up but it seems improbable that we'll fail to win 1/2 of those games

You guys are never going to believe this but...…….

…….the season before Leicester won the Premier League, they finished 14th on 41 points with a record of 11-8-19.

Last season Watford finished 14th on 41 points with a record of 11-8-19.

Spooky or what?? An omen for sure.

Sadly I do think Liverpool and Man City will be the top 2 and too good for most but 3rd is up for grabs!

The flaw in this is that Silva would actually have to be performing well at Everton for Man Utd to come in for him.

What's the ceiling for success at Everton before Manchester Utd become interested?

Seeing as my post was made at 7:34pm and the Sportsman's article came out at 8:02pm, I'd say it was the former. Nice try, but you have to try harder next time.

Good idea. I equate to lording yourself as some sort of statistician or sage on here to using ApplePay in Poundland.

You glance round and smirk at all the others but at the end of the day, you're still in Poundland.

I'm really concerned that when we win the league, there's a good chance we wont finish 14th on 41 points with a record of 11-8-19, and are thus unlikely to repeat our accomplishment the year after.
