Are you saying that there was going to be a wolf cub until the wolf chose Opti who was the back up seer? Because he was good with 3 x o? Is that definite because that's some gamble?

I've said for days about Horace and remain suspicious. If - and this is only if - today's message is definitely from the wolf then even that doesn't prove he's good. Named in 2 messages and survives whereas you point the finger at me who hasn't been viewed or named? Hmmmm.

Horace was my number 1 but I'll need to read up properly and see if this Opti back up seer thing rings true.

    Steve or Dom I think

Horace has been named by the Alpha and Beta wolf now. We can disregard GD naming him as we know GD didn't know the Beta or Traitor.

I just don't see why a Beta wolf would message first and name themselves, especially as the seer could come along after and also name them as evil.

I'm pointing the finger at you as you were the only one who initially disputed GD being evil.

What are your thoughts on dom Steve?

Not only once. I repeated the accusation at the end of the day when I named the two players who I was considering voting for.

I'd say I have pointed the finger at 5 players this game, to highlight actions which I think were evil.

    Norn
, completely incorrectly, although now I completely understand why I was wrong
Moog, although I realised immediately after the second message on day 3 that he was good
Steve, who pretty much everyone thinks is evil, to the extent that even a likely wolf is distancing themselves from him
Dom. Pointed the finger at him when no one else was (see below). Got distracted by LR mentioning that Dom thought that the second message was from the seer, although in hindsight, that wasn't very important.
    GoingDown. Confirmed Alpha.

Of those listed above, I called out the alpha on multiple occasions, as well as the likely traitor. I believe that the above list contains three evils however.

Right. It seems clear from Diamond’s comment that we’ve lost our Seer so today’s lynching is going to come down to an educated guess. There isn’t much to go on and the odds are stacked against us. For what it’s worth, now I’ve got a bit of time, I’m going to go over the posts from the last few days and if any other good players can do the same, that would be great. The things I think need to be considered are:
    - on Day 1, the Alpha (Going Down) obviously knew which message was the Seer’s
    - on Day 1, the Traitor (unknown) knew GD was a wolf (can’t remember if the traitor knows who is the alpha and who is the Beta); he also knew Nisman wasn’t evil but would have wanted him lynched; might have thought message was from the Wolf, but would want us to think it was the Seer
    - on Day 1, the Beta knew nothing about fellow evils

    - by Day 2, the Beta knew GD was the Alpha

You were also very quick to want to vote for me yesterday, until I “outed” myself as a Mason.

This was one of Steve's first posts after nisman was named evil:

Again if we are presuming - and I still have my doubts as I've banged on and on about before - Horace is not under suspicion then everyone else. Mike then Dom as particularly suspect.

Do you think Mike, being the Beta and knowing the Alpha, would have named the Alpha as evil?

  11. steve harrow

And it turned out he was named by the seer! Who wouldn't have thought as I did? Okay Nisman was the tinker but that's bad luck.

I've seen plenty bluffs, double bluffs and all sort of shenanigans in this game. Especially when someone is trying to save their skin (or fur).

That goes along with my theory, he couldn't vote for you after that and the wolf wouldn't kill youas it would draw suspicion on Mike.

  14. nornironhorn

So you think Mike and Steve are our two evil players?

If that is the case, then Steve surely can't be our traitor as he has just said he is most suspicious of Mike...

But then that would leave Mike to be the traitor... despite him then naming GD and Steve (who would be the two wolves in this case) as evil on Day 3.

I'll be voting for Dom unless some new revelation comes forward when @HappyHornet24 goes through all the play to date.

I think Dom is our Beta and Steve is our traitor.

I may have got the roles the wrong way round but I believe it may be the case.

I can't recall when you were declared definitively good?

As far as I can see, it's only the 2 Masons who are definitely fine. Everyone else has potential to be evil.

My point is, if you think those two players are the evil players then we have a traitor that has either been asking us to lynch both our wolves, or a traitor who is now asking us to lynch our wolf.

    I haven't been declared good.

My game play should be enough evidence for anyone though that I am good.

Great deflection thus far then, especially if you are a traitor.

Who is it you think I'm protecting?

In fact, just to nip this in the bud before it gathers any traction:

When HH24 and CB outed themselves as masons/GD got named, I was the one who put forward a lengthy post (#125, #137) with evidence that they were telling the truth. Them telling the truth would have meant GD was evil.
Why would a traitor go to such lengths to prove they were telling the truth and thus prove GD was evil...?

The only players who questioned whether they were telling the truth, were yourself and GD.

Follow the logic, though. Given the beta knew the alpha from night 1 and the traitor would know both from the start of the game. Why would I consistently bring up the name of two players who are likely evil, when they were coasting along without really being questioned? It doesn't make any sense.

It would be suicidal. Especially when nobody was really focusing on him when I started doing it.

Given Steve has been a lot more accusatory throughout, Dom has kept largely below the radar and Dom turned on Steve first today, I think it's pretty clear that Dom is most likely to be the beta and Steve the traitor.

I'm voting for Steve, I have a feeling he is evil but I don't know the role.

Dom seems happy to throw Steve under the bus and Steve seems happy to have Mike as more suspicious than Dom.

That is what makes me think Dom is the wolf and Steve is the traitor.

In addition to this, Steve is now trying to deflect attention towards me, having deflected towards Horace and Mike earlier.

Seems like a traitor clutching at straws.

  29. I'm happy to follow Norm so gone Dom.

Haven't been overly sure of Mike the whole game if I'm honest. Something's seemed off with him but I may be wrong.

I get that in pretty much every game I've played in. But I like to think I've found a balance between surviving late in games and pointing out evil players.

I typically name players who haven't been named in the messages and aren't trying to progress the cause for team good, and press them to see how they react. In the last game, I was a little more gung-ho about this from the beginning because we had a guardian, but I still think I did a decent job in this game at shifting the focus onto suspect players as our seer failed to pick evils.

Saying that, whilst I'm a bit unconventional, I've never tried anything as audacious as some of the stuff that has gone on recently. Some absolutely classic stuff.

I try and do the same.

I don't mind suspicions coming my way at certain times as it means the wolves are less likely to kill me.

If a player is noticeably good from Day 1, they are easy pickings for a wolf.

I’m torn because, looking through the game play, I’m still really unsure of miked. But I have a question for @steve harrow. Why, yesterday, did you say that - if Team Good believed we were Masons, they should lynch Mike? Why didn’t you say we should lynch Going Down?

That was before the second message came through very late. I might have been typing as it came through but you can check the times.
