    Day 5

    The Beta Wolf was now the Alpha and loving it. He literally strutted through the village. He looked up at the nights clear sky and rising full moon and smiled, it was going to be beautifully clear and the Wolf Cub was going to be released at its peak.
    The Alpha was on the way to the Police Station to have a quick bite with the village constable, Optimistc, when he heard the distinct sound of the Constables bike coming from behind. As he turned Optimistic stopped dead and instantly realised what was happening. “No no no, not me” blurted Opti but the Alpha approached quickly and grabbed Optis throat before the startled man could flee.
    As he did so there was a crash of thunder and clouds appeared in the sky. The Wolf looked up as more dark clouds appeared. He squeezed and there was another crash in the sky. This was becoming unnerving. As he squeezed the life out of Optis body the sky lit up with a crescendo of lightning, dark clouds completely filling sky and reflecting back the bright light.
    As the Wolf scuttled off with the dead Policeman the storm began in earnest. There would be no full moon seen so the Wolf Cub would not be coming to the village anytime soon.

    I'm in work today rather than wfh so my appearances might be erratic. Cue allegations etc but nothing I can do about that.

    Strange that the Beta would pick Opti... He has left us with two confirmed good players!

    Although I was confident Opti was good, as with everyone except CB and HH24 there had to be some element of suspicion.

    In that list, we have a traitor who knows one other evil player.

    We have a Beta wolf who only knows themselves.

    We have two masons who know each other but no-one else. These are CB and HH24.

    We have a back-up seer.

    That leaves only 2 standard villagers.

    Horace was only ever mentioned by the Alpha so is now as likely as anyone else to be evil.

    All of the previous seer's picks are dead so we have no confirmed good players, except CB and HH24.

    I'm guessing the word 'GOOOD' in Diamond's post has 3 Os in it by accident, rather than a subtle hint to something more.

    As stated yesterday, Steve (likely traitor) and Dom remain on my watchlist. If not them, then perhaps Horace.

    Very surprised both HH24 and myself are still alive - quite the gamble by the Beta Wolf.

    So we know there's one wolf, one traitor and a seer remaining.

    The Seer has a 50/50 chance of picking an evil (I think)

    I mean, that's 3 out of the 4 left except you and the 2 masons so you've got at least one evil in there!

    Good point. I clearly don't fully trust NI after earlier gameplay and even the two masons could actually be reverse tinker masons. Let's kill them all.

    Agree that it is bad play by the wolf to not take out the masons. They are both confirmed good and are likely to give two votes to team good. Oh well - their loss is our gain!

    Agreed the masons were the ones to target last night as they were confirmed Good. Hopefully the seer does the right thing today and picks well.

    If I was the seer I'd go for either Horace or Steve.

    It'll be interesting to see if their thoughts have changed over the last couple of days.

    Moog had been very suspicious of Steve, followed by me.

    Both CB and HH24 were suspicious of Mike and myself. I'm confident Mike isn't evil (can outline why later) and I'd like to hope my game play over the last couple of days has persuaded them I am also not evil.

    Yet I've called out Steve today as acting suspiciously and advised the seer to look at him. I thought the wolf could have been targeting select individuals but it transpired that he was throwing names out to cause confusion.

    I can confirm that the previous views are as follows:
    Nisman was viewed as evil (tinker)
    Hornetgags was viewed as good
    Moog was viewed as good
    GoingDown was viewed as evil (Alpha)

    We can win this.

    Morning all. I was very surprised to see both my name and that of CB still there this morning. I wonder if the Beta/now Alpha decided to take a punt and try to get the back up Seer? Although CB and I are confirmed “good”, we are of less use to Team Good than our Seer as we have no definitive information at our fingertips. Fortunately, from the write up, it looks as though the wolf failed.
    I’m going to have another look back at the posts of the last few days. I have to admit that one of my theories has been thrown out of the window with the revelation of GD as the Alpha - thought he was the traitor or Beta.

    Yea, I think so.

    It is pretty hilarious that Opti seems to have become evil in two games in quick succession overnight but been killed straight away!
