    Day 4

The baker was up early as usual, long before the rest of the village. He strolled towards the bakery at the best time of day when the sun was just starting to rise and the air was perfectly still. The only sounds were the birds singing...plus a heavy footstep close behind. As the baker turned the Beta Wolf sliced a sharp set of claws down across his chest, not deep enough to kill him but enough paralyse him. The Beta then hurriedly dragged him off to a remote area before the feast. Hold on, this one tasted good, in fact this was the best tasting human the Beta had eaten in a while. He thoroughly enjoyed the feast.
    BigRossLittleRoss tasted very very good

The farmer was also up early for it was the middle of the lambing season. He was in the middle of the farthest field helping a ewe to deliver. He didn’t notice the evil presence closing in fast, mistaking the ewes panicked cries for birthing noises. The wolf scooped them all up in one fell swoop and smashed them into the far field wall. He ate the farmer, the ewe and her lamb in one mighty feast.
Later on that morning 2 others villagers were particularly sad to hear of Moogs death.

    Well that didn’t go well.

The seer needs to find someone who is evil. Quickly.

  5. Ffs. We lost a mason then and maybe the seer.

This is a bit of a disaster so far.

Brlr the seer? If so, surely the back up will now be able to find a wolf because (silver lining and all) there are far better odds now.

Moog is an excellent player at this but always going to be a target after naming so many people as suspicious. Me included! A wolf either felt threatened although its more likely they wanted to make it look like someone Moog suspected is a wolf so they can deflect attention.

  8. 9 players left. 3 are evil. Come on seer, do something good.

Moog was looking at Mike and Norn on day 2. Maybe one of those.

  9. Sorry. I thought it was pretty obvious from the write up.

Moog and I were basically on the same page on Friday, when I worked out he must be good because of the message.

From my calculations, if we don't get an evil today, evil can win tonight.

I think the wolf will be one of Steve, GD and Norn (Opti could also be a traitor), but that doesn't really reduce the list.

I think everyone knew Moog was good on Friday so he was an obvious kill for the wolves.

With BRLR assumed to be our seer, it brings further closure in my eyes as to which message is which (they wouldn't name themselves as good on Day 1).

EDIT: Which means Nisman must have been the tinker, making us incredibly unlucky on Day 1

I think most people accepted Moog was good. I certainly did. Perhaps question those who maintained he was evil in the vain hope he was lynched.

I'm not sure why Moog or you think I'm evil - or the other players you mention. Everyone says so obviously but I am just a villager and therefore good. I never understand why people don't use the messages to form an opinion and go on hunches. Unless it suits them obviously.

    Oh bloody hell.

We need to get an evil character today desperately.

    Hello
A tough night RIP Ross and Moog.
I won't be like the last seer and will keep things short and sweet.
I viewed HappyHornet24 as I felt that their performance on Friday was suspicious and deliberate.
I can confirm she is evil. Please follow this as we are out of options.

  15. Crap - That's a really good point. I spent a lot of time believing we couldn't be that unlucky and we probably were. Unbelievable.

Clever wolf, changing style to try to come across as the back up seer

    Strange message from yourself CB?

Surely we need to wait until we get both messages to ascertain anything from the style.

Your message could be construed as a 'message' to the wolf to ensure they copy the seer's style...

Not just that, but the wolf likely picked our seer on day 1 too.

A complete reversal on the last game it seems, evil with all the luck this time!

Given we could lose this game today if we kill a good player, it’s probably worth the Masons outing themselves today.

If the first message was from the wolf, then out yourselves to help the seer. If you’re not sure which message is which, don’t out yourself until the potential wolf has posted.

I'd suggest everyone waits for the second message regardless.

Perhaps not, it may help the back up Seer to be able to chalk off the remaining 2 seers - gives them a 1 in 6 chance of picking someone evil?

Another bad weekend for us then, I agree that we need to wait for the second message before jumping to conclusions.

Regarding the masons, what do we think about them revealing themselves at this stage? After today’s play we could potentially be down to only 6 players by my count if things go badly, and the game could be over by end of day tomorrow.

Except if message 1 today is the seer we're basically throwing the game away to do what you're suggesting and revealing before the 2nd message.

I'd be wary of giving the wolf - in case theirs isn't the first message today - any information yet.

2 remaining masons? Why are we assuming 1 is dead? Sorry if I've missed it.

If I were the seer then I don’t think I would have posted a message straight away today. I would have waited to see what the villagers thought they should do regarding the mason.

For me that first message sounds like a wolf trying to be proactive.

Is a mason is named in message 1, then they should definitely reveal themselves. If not, wait until message 2.

I would also say that if the masons don’t reveal themselves today, our chances of getting an evil are 1 in 3. If there are three masons left it goes down to 1 in 2.

If we don’t get an evil player today then at best we only have one chance left at this tomorrow, unless a wolf does us a favour tonight.

  30. If we're down to 6 doesn't evil win anyway? My understanding was that evil only has to equal good to win?

The second message is absolutely vital today especially with the content of the first.

Slight issue with the masons exposing themselves is if that we don't lynch an evil character tonight all of a sudden there are two good characters that are ripe pickings for the wolves.

In that list, we have a traitor who knows two other evil players. We have a Beta wolf who knows the Alpha.

We have two masons who know each other but no-one else.

We have a back-up seer who will know one player's role.

We have an Alpha wolf who will know only themselves.

That leaves only 3 standard villagers.

Horace was mentioned in a message by the Alpha, so we know he is unlikely to be the Alpha. Same goes for CB. (They could still be the traitor/Beta though).

All of the previous seer's picks are dead so we have no confirmed good players.

Ah so the particularly sad and 2 others bit?

I'd expected it to say someone was really good or a clue in that part.

Ugh, bad news with two more successful kills. I had worked out that BRLR was the seer on Friday, but didn’t name him for obvious reasons. Looks like the beta wolf guessed that too. The Alpha wolf knew moog was a guaranteed “good” kill as the Seer named him as good. From the write up, it looks like moog was a mason but that the other two are still alive and they’ll know each other’s identities, so at least we have that on our side.
The message today is from the Wolf. I have no idea if we have a back up Seer at this stage of the game. For what it’s worth, I am still suspicious of miked and Going Down.
