Watched it on my mobile and had no issues. Caught the last 20 mins of the City game the night before on my TV and also had no issues. Impressed so far.

Unfortunately my stream had no buffering or interruptions and the picture was very clear :(:(:(

  3. I must say I am liking these staggered starts. One game ends and switch straight over to the other.

Quality of the streams has been pretty spot on as well.

Just get a bit of Laura Woods on it next time.

I thought the overall quality and format was excellent. The only moan was it was not in real-time. There must have been a 10 second lag, as I was getting score updates before the goal was scored on TV. So it took away the excitement as I knew what was going to happen, or not, when Watford attacked. I knew about the two Leicester goals before they were scored on the TV.

Got to turn off the updates, or leave the mobile in the kitchen.

Leaving your phone behind whilst watching football is probably the best thing you can do. In ground or at home!

My tv was so delayed the shoutbox was a minute ahead.

Anyone who regularly sails down the river knows all about this issue.

Personally, I like it when we aren't playing as I can flick from game to game when something interesting happens.

Yeah, never mind about the fans who actually go to the games and make football what it is.

  8. Is this the point where I need to justify going to games?!

Nice to know you care about this more than all 20 clubs in the EPL and it's live.

Football at the top level has become a sport for the TV fan, not the fan at the stadium. Midweek 6pm kick-offs in Europe are outrageous and now it's starting to happen in the Premier League. Stadiums, especially the big ones, are gradually filling with occasional fans on a day out who usually watch on TV. How much longer will overseas league fixtures be resisted if there's enough money in it? On top of all this the live fan is ignored when it comes to VAR, while those watching on TV see exactly what's going on and don't care about the missing thrill of celebrating a goal.
It's just not the game I fell in love with any more.

But if the fans aren't there the atmosphere is awful for the TV-watching aficionados. We ought to be paid to go, at Equity rates for extras.

I actually like the delay, gives a chance to get prepared for the inevitable latest **** up and a sense of excitement whilst waiting for a goal to be scored, not that we are scoring any at the moment

  13. Should be alright next year then .

I'm not thinking of you when I say this, as I think you're pretty switched on about the rulez, but people do really need to just pay attention. I don't think I've seen a live VAR scenario yet where I've no clue what's going. Aside from whatever the preceding action was, watch the ref as they often sign what it's about, watch the players talking and pointing etc. Yeah of course if there's then 90 second of nothing other than a 'VAR Review' sign on the big screen it's frustrating, but what are we missing out on? A clueless commentator and no mark pundit speculating what they think a replay shows. It's hardly a game-changer. If the decision is overturned a replay gets shown (a la Holebas penalty vs Burnley).

No-one had a scooby what was going on at Spurs.

I was there and yeah, they pressed the wrong button or whatever. But I think we all knew it was a goal really given the ref had signalled it twice (at the time and after speaking to VAR)
