I wholeheartedly agree with you there. What shocked me the most however was the admiration that some of their fans have for our history, and in some ways, want to be like us... In fact, that's probably why the two fan-bases almost have a mutual dislike for each other... They are like our annoying little brother. What is true though is that we are both punching above our weight at the moment and both clubs should be proud of where they are currently.
Agreed, while us, Bournemouth, Brighton, Palace, Huddersfield and Burnley are in the big time it keeps out the pseudo massive clubs like Leeds, Forest, Birmingham etc. And long may it last.
GT man of honour and fair play. Style: "You don't get cramp at this club" Eddie Howe Cheating little runt. Style: Waving imaginary cards around in an attempt to get opposition players booked. Training consists of learning how to surround the ref. Will Muff one day have a statue of the lego haired **** outside their ground looking all smug eurrrghhhhh!
I may not like Howe. But there are similarities between the clubs. We have played them a lot, both unfashionable, hinterland clubs, keeping out and bloodying the noses of the big boys as we punch well above our weights. I have mixed feelings. The fans on their forum seem thoughtful in that thread. I dislike them, kind of like them, hate them and admire them a little at the same time.
My pet hate is waving imaginary cards about. This should be a yellow card in itself. It's unsportsmanlike behaviour so it is indeed a yellow card. The fact you get a yellow card for taking your shirt off in celebration but not for this is lunacy. Swearing at the ref is also a bookable offence but never seems to happen. Start booking people for these two actions and they will soon stop doing it but the FA or the Premier League don't have the bottle
