It isn’t true HK is no longer on the radar.

I never said I did know anything about the details of JNs contract all I said was what I had read in ALs report that sounded very plausible. Yes I run a transfer windows Spaces with Peter and looking at the audience it gets people seem to like it. You may not. Totally fair enough. You don’t need to listen. It’s just a bit of fun and largely speculative based around players that we have been linked with, where the links generally come to nothing.

Go back through the thread and you’ll see that no one said Kyprianou was no longer on the radar.

Yet it was you who jumped in with two feet unprompted replying to me saying ‘incorrect’. And you’ve doubled down again afterwards ranting about something again that wasn’t said.

    Learn to read.

No, I was saying the point that you made the VI was unhappy we didn’t up our bid was incorrect. I understand all parties agreed it was a fair bid however the timing was wrong for Peterborough. Maybe my fault as I should have been more specific. I do think HK now has many suitors and the fact that we have bought a Columbian central DM puts him off of our radar.

But please don’t be so aggressive it really isn’t necessary.

And for the record - as I have previously said, it is not incorrect. Because I have it first hand from the man himself that he was upset that we didn’t up our bid to take him.

P’boro were accepting of our valuation but wanted him back on loan - they wanted an increased fee to take him in January which was more than we valued him at. We said no. Ismael was upset that the club wouldn’t pay the extra.

Bud, you said many months ago that you didn’t want to engage with me - yet you contacted me by replying. Just stick to your original energy about not wanted to talk to me - will keep us both happy as I grew bored of your nonsense long ago.

Yes I did when you bombarded me on Twitter. This is a different channel, which you are tremendously vocal within. If all parties including VI thought the bid was fair why would VI be upset my understanding is he wasn’t but even if he was I’m happy with the club for not over-paying from a fee that Peterborough thought was fair. The timing was just wrong for them. If we had overpaid I know many and possibly yourself who would have been very critical of this, sometimes they can’t win.

All we need to know is, as a cultured South American, will he play with the requisite level of... Ricardo?

You can easily go back and read the thread on the player to know what my thoughts were, without guessing about what you imagine my thoughts would or wouldn’t be. But you’ll actually see you assume wrongly.

I’m also not tremendously vocal on here. Once upon a time I was - but anyone will tell you that’s far from the case now.

So please, I’m being respectful now - I really don’t care. We don’t have to get on and I really don’t care for continuing discussing it with you.

That’s fine your last message was polite and lacked the aggression of your previous posts in this thread. Happy to leave it there. Take care.

With the exception of posters who are fine having their real name in their forum alias, could we please refrain from calling posters by their actual names (if known)? While not against any rule per say, it's still all about keeping each other safe while online so it would be appreciated if members referred to their screen names when addressing them in conversation.

Hope he's being bought with a view to get loaned out as from those clips I don't see that lad making an impact in the Championship at all next season.

agree, looks very raw and not sure he’d be able to keep up to pace in the Championship based on some of these clips

I think you've done him a bit dirty by posting the clip of his shooting first - as he's currently abysmal at it and someone needs to ban him from taking pot-shots from outside the box when he first arrives. I doubt that's what he's really been brought in to do though. It's funny that he's on penalties mind - where he has at least perfected the Deeney art of smashing the ball down the middle.

He looks better in the clips that more show what you'd be wanting a DM to do - basically winning the ball back and then progressing it forwards.

I don't think he'll be loaned out next season, for one thing the fee seems a tad too high for that. But we are fairly well stocked at present in CM so I think it's rather that he'll be a development project who is back-up to the likes of Kayembe and TDB, and as such is given a few minutes here and there off the bench and the occasional start in the cup or when there's an injury crisis.

I think he seems to have better technique and be a bit less raw than Hurtado when he first came over. Though as with a lot of the South Americans he will need to quickly be taught to not throw himself to the ground so quickly.

I did comment when doing my initial search of players from the slightly bigger European and South American leagues that DM was the main position where there seemed a scarcity in decent prospects from what I could see, so I'm not too disappointed by this guy as a signing.

But there are some potential gems out there in the wing-back, attacking midfield and striker positions who I'd be more disappointed if we passed on for the sake of someone who was such a project.

Looks pretty decent and can get the ball down and drive from the clips. Our midfield used to be our weakest link but I think we have somewhat rectified that with the emergence of Kayembe playing well, Kone' in patches and of course the ever ready King Ken. Could be a replacement possible for Livermore? I haven't heard any updated news of him and Hamer staying next season.

We need to concentrate on a RB and a left footed CB. As well as a Striker to replace Dennis. But as long as we concentrate on key areas and don't buy beyond our means we should be fine for recruitment keeping within our budget. There are a few very decent League One/Two players who could certainly be a 'cheaper' option, but that doesn't mean they are no good however.

Surely we don't need to worry too much about a left footed CB unless Hoedt disappointingly leaves. Otherwise Porteous can shuffle over if Hoedt gets injured or suspended. I'm not sure if we continue with 3 at the back whether the club will consider the 4 options we currently have to be an adequate number though. If we were to spend on a CB it would surely be one who would be an upgrade on Pollock and Sierralta. Otherwise it'd probably make more sense to sign another prospect in that position who is alright with being 5th choice.

Considering it appears we could be losing a few midfielders in the summer I'd be surprised if we agreed to that.

Him joining in January also wouldn't be ideal and rarely functions for our new signings - to look at him he already needs more than one proper pre-season in English football before he gets close to being able to contribute at this level.
