Well quite. Forest too. Just think how utterly deplorable it will be if you know who weasel their way out of the bottom three.
I know I need to wash my mouth out, but I hope Everton finally meet their maker. Should have gone down the last two seasons and their continual financial cheating needs to have a proper punishment.
As well as the obvious, it’s a shame Forest can’t go done as well considering they had the nerve to vote against giving more money to the EFL, they very quickly forget what they came from.
Better add Brentford to the wish list of clubs you want to stay up. Personally happy to see Brentford rejoin us for next season. But of course Burnley and Sheff Utd are already relegated in all but name, so only one spot still in play. Everton, Forest and Palace need to max out that game in hand they have over you know who. You have to wonder what the financial situation of this year’s relegated teams will be in a couple of years time, if they fail to go up in 2025. New ownership at Forest, Sheff Utd, Burnley and Everton will not be delivering the sporting outcomes expected if they end up in the second tier next season. Even more disastrous if a year turned into two or more outside the Premier League. All in all you can see the financial situation of the relegated clubs putting more energy into having Premier League 1 and 2. Each with 15 teams, a winter break, European super league and more of the TV money being reserved for the top 30 teams.
Rules need to change and fast . If , for example , I became the richest man in the World and wanted the Hornets to be the best team in Europe . I can't . Why not ? . Who benefits ? .
Nice little earner for Bayat . But as he got Dennis back all is ok apparently. https://twitter.com/androofrench/status/1778811055608643667
Arnaud Bayat? Reminds me of the Only Fools episode where Rodney gets married and they all find out his middle name is Charlton
How is this even possible given our minimal incoming transfer activity this season? Did we pay somebody a big bung to get Sarr off the books? No wonder we are always potless.
Amazed not more people seem to care about this given our poor financial position and minimal financial outlay. Does it really cost a fortune in agent costs to also sell players these days (which I suppose would go some way to explaining how we have 4th highest bill after the relegated teams)?
Some seemed to think it was ok as we got Dennis .. But think did others comment about it being a bad look .
Some of us hoped he would be the player that left us not Dennis Waterman. Not when he was in 'Minder'. The 'New Tricks ' version.
For my part, I haven't responded because it's no less than I expected, and how many more words can we expend on this without going insane? Those who will listen do so, and those who won't will always find another excuse or a ludicrously far-fetched potential twisty-pretzel-bobcat justification for the next act of incompetent-to-criminal fucckery from the despot.
You and I know it’s absolutely woeful, but others will justify it and won’t have their mind changed. It becomes conversation without purpose.
Completely agree, but you forgot the apathetic centre who know all is not well but only focus on the football side and either don't go or just accept it as a symptom of modern football. You'd hope some of that centre might change if the football side continues to decline.
i agree, many have a lot of personal problems in their own lives which will take precedence and, as you say, are apathetic about issues they can’t do much about
Probably will decrease but that is only natural as we potentially won’t sell anyone apart from Asprilla or buy anyone worth paying an agent for. Except Bayat of course.
It's one thing shilling for the Pozzos, after all, they were good for us once upon a time, but it genuinely boggles the mind how you could shill for Bayat...
We have it on good authority that Mr Bayat is treated no differently to any other agent. You people! You demand a transparent fans' meeting with the club officials then simply decide all the evidently transparent truths you are made privy to are nothing but lies.
Udinese on the brink of relegation in Serie A Wonder how much Mogi made in agents fee for brokering the Kabasele, Okoye and Keinan Davis signings last summer
They have been close to relegation for a number of seasons, maybe this year is the season their luck finally runs out
Could be delicious to see how their fans react. It won’t be pretty and I’ve long since thought that the way they sell up here, is if they are forced to sell up over there. I don’t see them keeping us if they sell Udinese. The fans in Udine certainly have more bite than ourselves over such matters.
