Don't think it's presumptuous to start this thread! Congratulations to Portsmouth who return to the Championship after 12 years away

 

I used to enjoy going to Portsmouth’s horribly outdated throwback of a ground. I assume it’s still the same now?

Prefer Lincoln in honour of GOD. They have a chance after winning at Ox last night, but will prob still be Oxford getting 6th spot. Defeat at home to Wigan last w/e will cost Lincoln.

 

They chucked rocks and bottles at us in the pitch dark from the top of sincil bank when we came out after whupping them 5-0 in an evening game.

Guarantee you Pompey vs Sheff Utd will be Sky's first Friday night game next season.

Derby look the likeliest to join Pompey automatically.

Be great if Lincoln won the play-offs though I'd say it is unlikely. Barnsley, Posh and Oxford all good away days. Posh was better when they still had the terrace.

 

Be interesting to see how those teams get on, the top of League 1 has seen some very big teams recently, they now seem to be climbing their way out (although Sheffield Wednesday may fall back in). Ipswich were a lot of people's dark horses (or even sometimes more in some people's eyes) even though they only came second, Plymouth were never rated as highly even if they might cast some envious eyes towards them having won the league so spectacularly last season, but will be pleased to be in this position with 3 games to go, Sheffield Wednesday royally ****ed up themselves until Rohl came in, though they still have every chance of saving themselves

 

Not been to Oxfords new ground but equally Lincoln would be good for obvious reasons, plus the fact I've not been there either

 

I went to the Manor Ground, and I think they are looking to move away from the Kassam. Be good to tick it off before they go.

 

The same as, liked the manor ground although thank full it never rained when I visited

 

Will definitely be seeing you next season now Pompey! Derby just need a point against bottom side Carlisle on the final day, they are 99.9% there

 

Next season is going to be rough, especially when Luton do the double over us.

Out of that entire lineup, Ngakia being in the starting 11 looks the most unrealistic.

 

It's all a ploy to try and bait the ref into thinking some sort of criminal assault has occured when Ngakia goes down injured after a few seconds

 

I wish.

 

We actually only got 5 red cards, Ngakia pulled up with an injury after 2 minutes

 

Can we have Britos on the bench to come on for a 'Knockhaert' type tackle late in the second half.
