I'd rather Leicester go up than Ipswich, and it's pleasing when Bristol City arent doing well given their rather anomalous victory against us earlier in the season.
I think that was more down to us doing our seasonal "Watford don't give a toss about the boxing day fixture" but Brizzle were very good that day.
Outstanding first half - best all season. Leeds scored only due to Pollock not seeing him on his better side. Brilliant second from Dennis and a great poachers goal from Bayo. Good goal from Summerville it has to be said. Can we keep this up for the next 45? Not sure, but we are certainly not being schooled. Leeds have been pretty poor but our midfield has been excellent especially Kayembe.
Great first half, looking good but I feel Leeds can play a lot better. Two great goals, Dennis looking like the player we needed in January. Clevs has got us set up well and we look solid which will come in handy if/when Leeds wake up. Our speed on the counter will be key I feel. I have got the bananas warming up.
Andrews needs to improve a little defensively. Let Summerville inside twice in that half. Dennis good, Lewis good (crikey). We don't yet look like conceding every other time they attack. We've cut out silly mistakes to a point. Played it simple, got people on the ball running in the right direction and haven't let them be comfortable. Thought it was a penalty on Asprilla. Give that the VAR treatment and it's given every time. Refs a bit slack on pulling up the fouls, but I bet if Leeds are still behind he'll start to penalise us more and more.
Personally I would have left Bayo up front by himself on their last man with Asprilla behind him. We are inviting too much pressure.
Impressed with Linda and TDB. What a shame about the second Weeds goal,so avoidable. Agree about taking the Asp off. What's wrong with Livermore?
