Correct Score League - Leaderboard

Happy with the Premier League finish but a little disappointed with not breaking into the top 5.

Might sack the manager.

About six to eight weeks ago I was top of the current form charts so I thought I might be heading for your top ten and a PL place for next season. However alas I then hit a slump and I had about three or four single figure weeks and slipped away.

So Championship it is for me next season, but I'll be pushing hard for promotion

I haven't got a clue right now. My only thoughts are that it would be nice not to have Watford in the selections next season.

Championship would be ok as we're there so the results would be interesting, but I do so many fantasy Premier League competitions and most Prem games are televised too so makes them interesting to watch if you have the prediction based on a game you're watching.

 

Cheers Diamond, really enjoyed the game and hope it can continue next season. As said above, I also enjoyed this game more than following actual football. It was the main reason I actually bothered to check results at 5pm each Saturday.

As for which league, one of my best results this season was when we predicted the National League results one week. So I don't think it matters which league we're predicting as I'm equally ***** at all of it, but I'll still have fun regardless of which league we do

 

I'd be happy with either, but as a preference I'd favour the Premier League as they tend to be televised and we can all continue to share the 'head in hand' moments where a score prediction is going our way only to see a late goal mess it all up.

You could always do 4 or 5 PL matches and the Watford match if you wanted.

Would prefer the league watford are in for next year.

If you wanted you could do a cup towards the end of the year for those struggling in the bottom half. Might keep some of the no guessers involved to the endm

A local old boy died this morning and he had quite strong connections with Watford FC. Luther was a regular visitor to his shop.

The Peace Hospice helped him out at the end with pain medication so I'll be donating Liz's £30 to them and a few £ more from myself. I'll screenshot the proof of payment tomorrow.

There's a just giving page raising money for the Peace Hospice in his memory so I used that to donate AML's prize money and our own little contribution. I've just grabbed a screenshot but if anyone needs proof I have an email receipt.
