I was reading about that earlier. 25 people beat him and stamped on his head for 90 seconds. I can understand smashing someone in the face in the heat of the moment, but this level of ultraviolence is beyond comprehension. The awful thing is all the perpetrators are probably all out of prison now and living their lives without giving a single shyt.
The bloke had little to no life whatsoever, for him it's a blessing. It's devastating for his family. I hope the utter ****s who did this get dragged back inside asap. There are scum like this at every club, including ours.
Yes, as long as it can be proved his death was caused by the assault. Any sentence already served for the assault would be deducted from the homicide sentence.
I'm not sure if that's possible, many years ago in 1963 the driver of the train involved in the Great Train Robbery died one day and one year after being hit on the head in the robbery, I remember if he had died one day earlier the assailants could have been tried for murder! therefore at that time victims had to die within a year, not sure if the laws have been changed!
