The guy was an utter disgrace who deliberately injured so many fellow professionals. Disgraceful he was allowed to get away with it. The Gary Stephens one on the touch line was simply GbH.
A thug and a bully, nasty piece of work. The daft thing is he was actually a decent football player when he wasn’t trying to ruin fellow pros careers
To be fair he tried that act when playing for Bedmond, many a Herts County League senior player would put him in his place. Also found out at Baileys on several occasions. Underneath it all he was a nice bloke who felt insecure enough to put on the hard man act.
