Not entirely. It sadly doesn’t say anything about Moyes, Hughes, Pardew, O’Neill....

It says it all that the players need motivating.
Perish the thought that they had some intrinsic motivation and pride in their performance.

Is there even the smallest possibility of us seeing some of the youngsters start at Leicester? It's probably going to be a defeat going on form
but hey at least give the youth a run out? They may surprise some and help make a push for a starting place. I don't know how the
technical side of "being promoted to the first team" works, but it's an option I hope we keep open.

Bit harsh to throw them in against Leicester.

I'm not sure but I'd prefer "Keggy Keegle" as Brian Moore called him once!

Hopefully, Mullins & Stack will remind them what one of these is.

    goal.jpeg

Ball in opposition goal = good

Ball in our goal = bad

Let's keep it basic for now.

It really doesn't matter, as long as it's not another 8-0 thrashing. We need to build for the future and doing something completely different, playing some of the kids, is exactly what we should be doing.

What we need is someone who will play to our strengths. An attacking stance. We've got nothing to lose now and defending with this lot is a no-hoper.

We need Sarr, Pereyra, Deulofeu and Deeney on the pitch. Not shoe-horning Masina at CB or swapping Janmaat for Kiko, then Kiko for Foulquier.

So basically anyone who specialises in 4-2-3-1 or the "Rodgers" 4-3-3.

We all know playing one up top is a total waste of time. None of our forwards can do that. Gray has terrible ball control and his
shooting is below par. Deeney is more capable of holding up the play, but he needs a partner to pass to or run with. The only
squad members who "could" play the lone striker is Delafoo or Sarr. Both are good technically - we saw what Sarr could do
against Southampton when he keeps his cool and has the ball at his feet. Delafoo is a brilliant technical footballer, but is very rash
and his decision making in critical moments has cost us the chance of more goals.

Whatever formation we go with, it has to be one we can play for the foreseeable future. If this wonder kid comes in January, I just hope
    he get's gelled in quickly.

It's hard to argue with that. Our strengths are in midfield and the flair players in our attack. Our huge weakness is our defence and even Quique's 'park several buses' tactics didn't help, so let's get back to an attacking tactic and hope we can outscore some schmucks. Seems a much more palatable way to go down than another ultra-defensive tactic

I’d say no chance at all given the predicament we are now in. You don’t throw youth into a team that’s bottom and needs every point available.

Leicester put 9 past the team we lost to on Saturday. You say you don't want another 8-0 but then say we should be playing the kids. I know that's not how football works but it makes no sense. I definitely think we should be blooding a few youngsters but away to Leicester who are rampant isn't the game for it.

There's absolutely no chance of putting in a load of youngsters. And no point either. This idea that there's an untapped squad of future brilliance just kicking their heels in the under-23s is one of the most bizarre things about modern football. At best, 20% of them will make a career in the professional game.

If we go for an attacking formation at Leicester we will get absolutely thumped. We need to have different ways of playing against different teams. That was the issue Gracia had, teams worked out what we were doing and he didn't change anything.

At 6/1 on Bet365 the other day, it was a no brainer me having a little flutter on Leicester winning by 4+ goals. Printing money?

I'd actually be up for this. We need someone that is a bit mad to spark something. Obviously he's not a great manager but he's a winner and would get on the training pitch and lay into our spineless bunch. We'd either go on a crazy run to avoid relegation or go down with a couple of points more than Derby got but at least it wouldn't be another dull, technical head coach.

Yeah, 30 seconds into his first training session, Roy Keane is sacked with immediate effect following an altercation with Jose Holebas.

That altercation turned out to be the argument of who has the most red and yellow cards in the career to date. Holebas pointed to his impressive tally
of yellows and suspensions and Keane threw in his Karate Kick to the Palarse fan. Soon, words became fisticuffs.

Edit: Sorry that was Cantona not Keane - got them mixed up.

That was a Twitter spat after.

The altercation occurred when Keane pointed at Holebas and said "Your job is to stop crosses".

A witness said "It was like a red rag to a bull"

I know this will be controversial but in my opinion we need a manager who will stop us conceding goals and help us score more at the other end. Ideally we also need a manager who can connect with the fans and community as well as nurture our young talent. Finally our new manager should be an artisan baker.

I could see us giving the job to someone like Wenger or Pochettino, at least to tide us over till the Summer.

The fact is that whoever we appoint, none of this will matter in 100 years.

    And that's the bottom line.

Wenger's got a new job with FIFA and Poch would lose zillions if he takes another job before his Spurs contract expires. Pardew and Pulis are free though.

God help us if true !

Think he has got worse as a manager as time as gone on.

Seems to do very little apart from spend badly and moan about officials .
