Yes, I agree there, my comment was just in jest! Most of the criticism against Brighton has been from patronising big 6 types who think anyone below Man U should just be grateful to be in The Best League in the World™. Think they'd have been massively odds on to be relegated under Hughton, but they've got half a chance under Potter. Still a game we should be winning though!
Agreed, it’s a shame. He seems a good lad and quite funny and was someone I really wanted it work out for.
Maybe he could play the Rene role on 3C Radio. Kind of keep him around the set up but without the risk involved when he plays football.
I dunno, he’s (GD’s) got the height to be good in the air. The point I was feebly trying to make was that for a moment Kabasele looked like he might bloom into a top defender and this combined with his comedy genius would have been doubleplus good. I just have this hunch that players like Kabs are good to have in the set up and help to foster camaraderie and team spirit which in turn might in some unquantifiable way impact on performance and success (of the non Isaac creamy Irish whiskey flavour). I obviously can’t evidence any of this but its why I did really want it to work out for Kabs to deliver consistently good performances. Shame, it could have been so good but its over now, possibly.

Unless we have someone lined up don't see the point in selling our youngest centre half (apart from Willmott)
I think camaraderie has retired now, though his goals would have been useful, but I would bring back Colin Foster in a heartbeat.
Has had more than enough chances to impress. No doubt he has the talent but without focus it's pointless. €10, we should be snapping their hands off.
Our youngest centre half who is already 28 and still plays with the rashness of a junior. Perhaps we do have someone lined up?
Prodl had a knee injury, was due back in pre-season but I think it was Bachmann recently who said he's still 50/50 fitness wise. Not in Austria as a picture on his instagram account had him at what looked like a wedding, not Lukebakio's though. Britos, according to transfermarkt, has retired from playing.
Reportedly close to signing a new contract. http://sportwitness.co.uk/wish-alwa...als-close-extending-contract-wants-grow-club/
Not unhappy about this, as he does have something to offer, but as we all know, we need to upgrade the defence, and he's part of the problem right now.
So, 5 years or 6? Perhaps a year for every ludicrous penalty he’s given away. I think he’s got a part to play, but unless he makes significant improvements to his concentration levels, we won’t improve defensively without signing upgrades on what we currently have.
He such a card...under the hashtag #StartAnArgumentIn4Words... https://twitter.com/chriskabasele27/status/1197596092239687685
Here are the stats when Kabasele has played. Played 10, Won 2, Drew 6, Lost 2 (vs Liverpool and Chelsea) Without him Played 8 Won 0 Drew 0 Lost 8. That's amazing. I think this guy is so underrated. Sure he has his moments of madness, but overall it's clear he's vital to the team.
He's clearly always had ability but had a tendency to be erratic or weak willed (lying down with cramp...) Now he has 'manned up' a bit he is solid. He's been brilliant this season.
That is an astonishing stat. I think most would say he's our best defender but Cathcart is more consistent. The two of them seem to have formed a partnership now which is vital
