FA Cup - The Road To Wembley - We Made it to The Final

  1. As it is it's just £2.40 per ticket. Plus £2.50 postage. Bargain.

Got tickets buy my word that was hard work. Took about 1.5 hours. Phone-line not working. Didn’t let me take my first choice for no obvious reason. Useless booking process

What are you on about? "User issues"? Talk me through what "user issues" are involved in:

    Going on to "watfordfc.com"
    clicking on "Buy Tickets"
being presented with a screen that says "you have been temporarily placed in a queue......please wait patiently"
looking at a stupid grey circle purporting to show your progress in the "queue", under which is given a (totally fictitious) approx waiting time
seeing the circle move round spasmodically & then suddenly being presented with the Log in screen after almost 2 hours

From that point on it was as easy as it should be...you suggesting the ridiculously long wait to even get ONTO the Log in screen is anything other than a platform issue is plain stupid. Unless of course you can enlighten us all on what piece of "user-wizardry" you employed to bypass the queue.

It seems you (& a couple of others) were lucky enough not to have wait in the "queue" that long; which further supports my contention it was not a "queue" at all.

Incorrect. System is terrible and decision to initially allow 20 per transaction made it even worse. At least that has been rectified to nine.

Four of us, not quite senior, trying on a range of devices (computer, laptop, phone) and fast broadband and 4G. Best effort so far was getting five seats in a basket but button to complete transaction didn't go anywhere, clock ran out, booted out to start again.

Luck of the draw. And as I type this, my mate has gone through the whole system again and been booted at the payment stage.

I think 20 per transaction would drive the traffic down, not up, so don't understand why they decided that. Better to have one person buying 20 than 5 people buying 4 each I would have thought.

It's good to have this agony though, hopefully we will all be suffering it again in three weeks time!

Contrary to previous communications the maximum number of tickets that can now be purchased at once is nine.
This is due to exceptionally high demand on the web server. We appreciate your patience.

What a surprise, high demand, if only this could of been foreseen !!!!

Logged on at 9:35 on my work laptop, waited and was instantly let in to pay for my tickets at 10am. Fortunate.

Probably Citeh season ticket holders prepay for their Wembley seats at season ticket renewal time. It must be good knowing where your FA cup final seats will be before the season starts. Maybe we should have an element of that. If you are a season ticket holder and definately want a seat you say so when you renew and the system automatically allocates you seats. That way you just need to pay when an email turns up with a payment link if you get through to a Wembley match. Or decline and the seats are put back in the pool for general sale.

Just got my tickets. Only took three hours.

Thanks, Ticketmaster - or 'Ticketscheister' should I say. Really pleased I had to take three hours out my busy day waiting for your **** system to crank into gear. That I have to pay £2.40 for your 'service' is rubbing our noses in it. W @nkers.

Holding pages for these sorts of things go up early usually, so bit of a risk/reward effort.

Some top journalism there. Almost as tinpot as Wolverhampton Tigers FC and their fireworks display.

Why do Wolves want to be our rivals so badly? They seem to be obsessed with us like Palace and Bournemouth.

1 hour 40ish minutes waiting, finally get in, assign 4 tickets together but only 3 appear in the basket. Unassigned two of those tickets to another two a little further along the row and it puts me back on the homepage and logs me out. Back to the grey waiting wheel now for another hour or so... f***ers.

At last got my tickets. Took me 4 hours and 20 minutes. Been charged 3 times and was bombed out 4 times. Worst online booking experience of my life. Finally got the confirmation email through, so it's only one transaction. Any other charges should be reversed.

I tried MS Edge, Firefox and Google Chrome and it worked on Chrome. Maybe a browser issue when you get to the final payment screen. The wait time to log on was just dreadful. I had three PC's on the go, which actually did help after I kept getting bombed off and then had to go to the back on the queue again.

    Ticketmaster?? More like TicketDisaster.

You know what there will defo be a correlation between Brexiteers and unable to buy tickets from an easy to use ticket platform.

EVERYONE I know had tickets bought by 10.30am.

Absolute embarrassment from the club and Ticketmaster.

Stuck in online queues. Booted out when assigning tickets or making purchase. Technical problems with browsers. And then the club's line in the Wobby is that it was about everyone rushing to buy tickets at minute one.

Are they really that amateur that they didn't anticipate this?

When the pitch was a mess, we brought in new staff. When they damaged our medical dept, they then brought in new people to sort it out. Time to work through our poor IT systems with Ticketmaster so fans don't go through this again.

You are clearly a WUM...read earlier replies indicating how you talk 5h1te...nothing to do with "easy to use" if the wall they set up won't even let you onto the site. Still waiting for the user tricks you employed to circumnavigate it. There aren't any, of course, just luck.
EVERYONE is not a large number of people in a cesspool of zero...
And lets just leave the Brexit assertion...more evidence you know not of which you speak.

Finally got two tickets after over 3 hours in the online queue. Wobby now reporting our frustration with Ticketmaster. I did laugh where at the end of the article it says that Ticketmaster have been contacted regarding the problems but are yet to respond!

YES! Over 4 hours later and we have tickets. Good luck to anyone still in this huge steaming pile of a website. The transaction took about 15 mins to process so hang tight.

4 hours and 18 minutes - no tickets. Must have crashed at every possible stage so far.

Why do we have to pay a £21 fee for a website that doesn't work?
