After our loss last night, I think we need a bit of cheering up. https://twitter.com/i/status/1090728298588635137 Thought it was really funny, that "always the victim" Zaha got his marching orders for doing what he always does.
I saw him interviewed a month or so ago. He is as rich as Croesus but as thick as a whale omelette, with a persecution complex to boot. He is indulged at Selhurst Park and I think in danger of wasting his undoubted talent. Needs to grow up,like most footballers.
Even the Palace fans admit he was stupid to get involved and react ! Then compound it by taking the pee out of the ref .
I had a quick look on their forum last night and most of the Palace fans seem to be turning against poor old Wilf. He's not doing it consistently enough on the pitch to justify the moaning that they see for 90 minutes every game.
Is it really necessary for ward-prowse to touch the back of his head though? Surely this is provocation. Wrong player got booked.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Just too funny. He's a whiny, cheating man-child and I'm glad to see him get hoist with his own petard.
True, but that made it even more hilarious! If he wasn't such a petulant little crybaby and just got on with it, like Hazard does for Chelsea, he wouldn't be picked on as much. He's so easy to wind up and it's therefore great fun to do so, for other players and fans alike. No sympathy from me.
He's not that young now 26, about to hit his prime really. If he doesn't move in 2/3 years his pace will start to go and I think he'll stay at Palace for his career. For them he'll be a club legend but I think it would be up for debate if he fulfilled his potential. I'd argue not, he initially moved too soon, now he's leaving it too late, but Woy pampers him so he's slowly stagnating
Honest answer not sure, yes a year or so ago but probably not at this moment. Think we'd get better value elsewhere.
Yes. I'd build the whole team around him. One of the few genuinely exciting players in the Premier League. It is entertainment after all. Will still boo him though. Though I refuse to use the C word.
No, I'd be disappoint. Can't stand him and he'll never be value for money from a sustainability standpoint.
We did two years ago. £20m was our offer I believe, though I'm not certain. It was interest that went flat quite quickly but there was definite interest and a bid.
Yes, cos with his years of experience he could teach Isaac how to dive Successfully instead of just falling over.
TBH he has too much history between our supporters, him and Knockart are our fans most hated players, it would be like signing someone who use to play for Lut_n, oh wait a minute!
