Brentford have a good record of buying players and selling them on for good profit ..

    Mr A.Gray for example .

Yes it is actually. And it's well known that you have the ability to 'interfere' from afar. You're surely not now telling me that you require to be in the same town!

Descended from a long line of Scotts. He is the only child of Terry and Selena Scott.
He and wife Jill Scott are aire to the Scott toilet roll empire who famous catch phrase is ‘people always need to wipe’
He is related to people’s favourite newsreader Michael Scott and is cousin to the very loud ‘mr clean’ Barry Scott, whom he once had a very public falling out with.

Montgomery Scott from the Star Trek series was based on one of his ancestors who was a ships engineer. He was renowned for developing a the theory that allowed sailors to transfer between moving ships.

Unfortunately, he didn’t inherit the great Scott gene and underperformed in his education eventually dropping out at 19 after being held back several years at school. He had no interest in sport but was often the school maScott. It is said that he’s used his family name to get on but has only made it as far as Watford.

I have heard that after lengthy negoations he has come as a result of us allowing the Actor Tommy Lee and artist Richard Smith to go to Brentford on free transfers, or was it Richard Lee and Tommy Smith!

"Brentford's success stories since then include the signings of Ollie Watkins, Neal Maupay, Florian Jozefzoon for the first team, and Jan Novak, Joe Hardy and Theo Archibald for the B team."

I hope we sign a similar clutch of nonentities with fancy names under this guy

As long as one of them, in 15 years time, isn't called Wolf Nine Carroll. (Can be Googled).

It seems Andy Scott's role/title has changed.

He is now the Sporting Director whereas previously his title was UK Football Recruitment Director.

As well as the link below, his LinkedIn page now has his Sporting Director as his job description.

    http://trainingground.guru/articles...ting-director-by-watford#.W_PlowDQKMI.twitter
    https://uk.linkedin.com/in/andy-scott-516b9556

    From Training Ground Guru;
ANDY SCOTT has been promoted to Sporting Director by Watford.

The 46-year-old had been UK Football Recruitment Director since joining the Hornets from Brentford in November 2017.
Italian Filippo Giraldi will remain as Technical Director, a role he has held since 2016.

When contacted by TGG, Watford were unable to clarify Scott's role, or the division of duties and responsibilities between himself and Giraldi.
Usually, a Sporting Director would oversee the Academy, medical and sport science, and recruitment, while also supporting the first-team manager.

Scott's own background is in recruitment, although this is also an area in which Giraldi has led during his time at Vicarage Road.

The appointment means there are now five people with the title of Sporting Director in the Premier League - Dougie Freedman (Crystal Palace), Olaf Rebbe (Huddersfield), Michael Edwards (Liverpool) and Kevin Thelwell (Watford) being the others - although as many as 16 have roles with similar functions.

    What exactly is LinkedIn.

    I sometimes get requests from
Very boring people to join LinkedIn and add them

As far as I can see it’s facebook for narcissistic corporate ***** who job hop

I think that's the tag line on their e-mails and mail shots; Facebook For Narcissistic Corporate ***** Who Job Hop
It's also a way, maybe, of networking without actually having to meet the oafs in person?

I've never joined, I just get links to peoples pages on searches sometimes so it's handy to see job titles confirmed or not.

Why ask the question when you know the answer already ?:)
I have 416 connections but then again I am the archetypal narcissistic Corporate ***** Who Job Hops. I basically use it to keep in touch with ex work colleagues as we move around but its getting turned into a marketing tool by corporates so lots of boring company articles get published where staff are "asked" to "like" a particular article so that all their contacts see it...if, unlike me, they bother to read their feed.
You also get asked to connect by lots of unknowns who want to flog you something, so I pretty much never connect to someone I don't know, unless it's clear that there could be a mutual benefit. It is useful for tapping up your network for new jobs tbf.
