I know its not strictly Watford, but does anyone have any good suggestions on where to watch the England game in London tomorrow afternoon. Want somewhere with a bit of atmosphere, heading up to meet my brother and have a few drinks.

    Where is PYA nowadays?

Booked tickets 9 months ago to see stage version of Thriller so not able to watch it. Gutted but get the feeling it may not be a classic

Don't want to spoil the ending for you, but Michael Jackson blasts the last penalty over the bar, and the zombie lad coolly strokes his penalty in after a stuttered run up, he then eats the keeper

I've turned down every invite to watch England games in pubs or with mates. I prefer to watch in my own living room. The tension of the last minute equaliser and penalties vs Columbo was not something I could share with casual footie fans, half baked analysis, people blocking my view, queuing to get drinks or, as happened in a pub in (Kent?) A full on brawl

    I needs my concentration

I've felt this for years. At the game or at home, not in the pub with a bunch of ****s playing up for the camera phones. These idiots were chucking beer around when the 6th went in against Panama.

Some of these idiots can be seen at Watford away games before the match. Start doing the “bounce in a minute” ditty and then throw their beer in the air. I’ve never understood it

These are the people who repeat phrases they've heard Danny Murphy say in commentary on order to show their knowledge of the game.

"We need to get the ball into the channels more"

    Or

"Kane's movement for the goal is superb there"

Without any understanding of the words they are saying.

I shall watch at home, then go to my local for a few pints of Abbot, then get fish and chips on way home and watch the Croatia Russia with said fish and chips and a bottle of wine from my wine rack.
    Sorted.

If it's "...from my wine rack..." that means it's either red so not at cellar temperature - you farking pleb.

I might decide to have red, or I might decide to put a bottle of white in the fridge before I go out.
I don't have a cellar, just a rack in the kitchen with a few bottles that I buy from the supermarket when I need to make up enough for a money off voucher
You don't know me so why the nasty insult you horrible w*****r.

Ha, yep I can see that now, I did not mean it to sound that way though.
Just a bottle of plonk after having beer at the pub.
Not too keen on bottled or canned beer, unless it's lager.

    Will happily watch at home with the following conditions;

We go behind, tv goes off.
We are level with 5 mins to go, tv goes off until extra time
It goes to pens, tv goes off.

FWIW something I remembered from my student days working in a wine shop that had a "perfect paring" offer (your money back & another free bottle if you didn't agree). For fish & chips it was cava (something to do with the vinegar & the acidity from the bubbles).

I'm going to go to Asdas and hope for some yellow labels to facilitate me eating and drinking today. If the security guard isn't looking, I may get a bottle of wine from their 'value' cellar.

Ooh that sounds good, don't have any Cava though so it's plain old Morrisons bog standard Pinot.
    Already in the fridge.

Lidl's quality/price ratio is pretty good - their Hungarian wines are very, very good.

EDIT: Fridge? Fridge? FRIDGE? It should be cellar temperature!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't think we have a Lidl in Leighton Buzzard.
Ok I'm no connoisseur, but fridge seems to hit the spot in this hot weather, anyway if I leave the bottle out it will soon warm up a bit.
Oh, and I don't have a cellar either.

We had an open day at the club that was from 10-5pm. After Tuesday we realised no one would come after 2.30pm.
I watched the first half at the club but two senile Spurs fans from Broxbourne LTC somehow winkled their way in.
I had to listen to the woman "Harry this' Delle that' for 45 minutes and her husband shredding Young and Sterling with equal measure.
When I saw the Loon flag, just before half time,I came home.
