Is anyone getting the strange 'rumour/reported' adverts?. I'm finding them quite amusing.

All adverts are targetted from your cookies & search history etc. So I mainly get Russian dating sites

 

I guess it may lessen your amusement but the two that you have posted are not actually ads: they are images inserted in the threads in question (I know, because I was responsible for Steve Octopus).

 

I get that however the pictures don't appear to match up to the threads they are advertising and seem quite random.

 

Well, Meister could comment but I assume that only those threads which have images inserted get to appear at the top of the page. As for the randomness, well - that's the way the forum works. If you read back through the threads it might (?) make more sense how the images came up in conversation.

I'm rather proud that the octopus is featuring so prominently at the moment!!

That strange eyed girl in the atmosphere thread is kind of off putting

 

That was the fault of Hornet4Eva or someone. He was trying to dictate subject matter to other forum members so @GoingDown placed a curse on people who responded to him. Unfortunately I was one of them and now that annoying girl is at the top of the forum page for me.
