Werewolf XVII - Day 2

Initial thoughts are that it's someone on a mobile device, due to the typos. Also should be "whom" rather than who.

Difficult to get anything more without a second message though.

 

I'm gonna spam the thread over my lunch hour then, to avoid suspicion.

 

Too sunny to work today, butcher shop closed. I'm heading to the Admiral, any illicit gambling see me by the pool table

 

Just a quick observation, If the message just posted was the Seer - I think, we might be able to rule out WAS and HH as the Seer, considering they both said they wouldn't be back till later this afternoon?

 

Moog has been very perceptive so far...hmmmmm...I wonder.

 

He did lead the way in voting off WatfordTalk though!

We're used to seeing mistakes in the evil team's game though...

 

Interesting first message. Also, what with Opti potentially being away during the day, it could still conceivably be from anyone, as it may have been sent earlier but only posted now. Less likely, but still possible.

I'm always wary of the more experienced players, and especially so now that there's been a full moon so a new wolf really could be anyone.

I've never made it past day one before and even though I've run a game myself before, I'm finding it really difficult to latch onto anything whatsoever. It's a tough game!

 

Be interesting to see what the second message will be. I assume it will be the wolf attempting to drop somebody in it.

 

Wolves don't know who the other wolves are, remember. Just in case any newer players are thinking along these lines. Seemed to be something that was forgotten in the game I ran.

There is one person in this entire game that knows the identity of all of the wolves:

I wonder if they also find out who the new wolf is after the full moon... I think the traitor may have been WatfordTalk or cthulhu as Opti didn't mention there being a need for another evil player to confirm they had got a message regarding the full moon. Might just be looking into that a bit too much but interesting all the same.

 

I guess the wording about the traitor that's relevant here actually is 'at the start of the game', so ignore that last bit I guess actually.

 

Yep, the Traitor knows who the Wolfs are - I think in this case it could've been Cthulhu

The Wolfs only find out each others identity if they both chose the same person to kill - In past game the Admins have made it clear if this has happened. I believe Wolfs, regardless of knowing each other, cannot contact one another outside the game.

 

Are we allowed to have the times (approximate) the messages were left? I think 352 last year did so it was easier to pick up if either messages were reacting to any specific information.

 

If my theory is correct and Cthulhu was the traitor then it could make the above post from Day 1 interesting - WatfordTalk was evil, and Cthulhu would've known that - perhaps a coincidence but Ashdon might be worth watching.

(Just to be clear, I have no idea who has PM'd who and I am really just kidding).

 

Cthulhu couldn't have been the traitor because there would have been two eatings on Friday. So we still have an original wolf, a new wolf and a traitor in play.

 

Why two eatings? If WT was a wolf, then there would have only been one wolf left.

The new wolf does not have a chance to eat on the night he becomes the wolf.

That's my theory anyway unless I am very confused. Which I am tbh.

 

It was Day 1... My vote was basically cast on the basis of a coin toss that day. We got very lucky that WT was evil

 

An evil character was killed in day 1. If that character was a wolf, then there would only be one kill on night 1.

 

As was mine, I also voted the same way. If Cthulhu was the traitor then he would have been the only person who knew for sure.

 

WatfordTalk made an error in as much as he didn't post until late afternoon and then a bad message came shortly after. WatfordTalk would have survived if he didn't bother with a message.

 

I don't know if I'm going to be around to vote after 5pm. I also have sod all to go on if I need to make a vote beforehand. Any theories?

If a wolf knows what we're looking for then we need to be looking at the opposite end of that table this time.

 

I've got nothing. I know we went with quiet voting yesterday but what if the wolves pick up on that and play a lot today to throw us off the scent?

 

As the second most poster on this thread you may have implicated yourself!
