There was no match thread because nobody really cares. It's a rubber that is so dead, it's skelton has been blown away to dust like the nazis in Indiana Jones. As you yourself point out, it's a match that is only of interest to the accountants toting up the season's balance sheet. A bought ledger bore. I put a bet on us start of the season that we would finish top 10, so this is actually a £3,900,250 game. Someone let the players know, might give them the edge they need.

In the circumstances I don’t think the club should care too much about 3.9m. Rest the first XI and keep them fresh for the cup final

Easy win. Pellegrini’s stupid interview is about as stupid as the watford admin on twitter. Whenever you make comments about revenge etc it tends to backfire. So thanks for the three points and confidence boost for the final.
Funny you should say that art, but I am indeed going to this but not the cup final, as i'm in deepest darkest Somerset for a wedding. Oh the joy!
