I've just picked up this month's WSC which has an little booklet entitled "For Better for worse" featuring Villa, Edinburgh City, Cov, South Shields and Spurs. Something that caught my eye about Villa was this:
    A couple of things:
    1. Is this true?
    2. Does this mean that the EFL has grown a spine and it's enforcing FFP regs (finally)?

Yes, i've heard Villa do only have £1m to spend. I thought EFL have always enforced FFP (they can't punish teams that fall foul then go up)?

Yes they have previously sanctioned Nottingham Forest, Blackburn and Cardiff, I'm not sure whether any others have been too.
