Playing at a Ingolstadt in Germany today (5pm), a club I trained with back in the early nineties so there's mixed loyalties.

Still want a Udinese win though.

Thank you for starting the thread.

The very first friendly this summer for Udinese was last Tuesday 14th at Klagenfurt against Schalke04. It went quite well considering Schalke is a strong team and Bundesliga begins earlier than serie A so they were in a more advanced stage of pre-season. 1-1 with goal (what a surprise!) by Di Natale on a FK.

    The next international friendlies (beyond the one you said);
July 18th 2015 at 18.00 in Lienz: FC INGOLSTADT - UDINESE
July 22nd 2015 at 20.00 (CET time) in Athens: PANATHINAIKOS - UDINESE
July 25th 2015 at 19.00 in Klagenfurt: UDINESE - GALATASARAY
August 1st 2015 at 20.00 in Bastia: BASTIA - UDINESE
August 8th 2015 at 19.00 (CET time) in Konya (Tur): KONYASPOR - UDINESE

All the matches will be live on Udinese Channel (TV broadcasting in Friuli and Veneto regions), so maybe (if they have improved their previously quite pathetich bandwidth) will be also available in (legal) streaming on the site http://udinese.it/portal/IT/handle/?hil&page=redazione_udinesechannel

Who'll be filling the gap left behind from Allan this season Sherlock? I think he will be sorely sorely missed.

Last time Udinese came for a friendly, I got a goalkeeper trainer shirt (From Belardi), will try luck this year too :p

Debut of the new Stadium in a few minutes in the friendly Udinese-SPAL.
Free entrance for Udinese fans (so they can all watch the stadium and maybe decide for a ST).
Live on Udinese Channel, then also in streaming on http://udinese.it/portal/IT/handle/?page=homepage if you're curious about the match or the stadium.

Watching it now ... the new stadium stadium really looks full with those multicoloured seats ... very clever IMO.

    I can't understand a word though

I always thought that some players do well in one place and not in another, or begin to do well only when they reach the age of maturity (not always 18YO ;) ).
Believe or not but Merkel, after a not brilliant season on loan somewhere in Switzerland, has played very well so far in the Summer friendlies and is likely to stay in team as reserve midfielder.
Same for Neuton: rumours say coach Colantuono thinks he's good and he'll stay in team, as reserve defender, while Coeff for example went on loan to Ligue2.

I don't rate much results in friendlies, as the most important thing is to try players, try formations, find the right recipe.
Yet, losing 0-1 to a third tier team is certainly not a good thing.

Battochio officially playing for you as a trialist I guess? Or has he moved/loaned back to you from Watford now?

    Absolutely no idea, honestly! :]]
AFAIK the latest official announcement, last year or so, was that he was a WFC's player. Yet he's training with Udinese now.
This promiscuity of players smells like holocaust and mafia and money laundering IMHO! :naughty:;)

It's not a bad article, but from the numerous games i've seen from Fernandes, there's no way he'll be replacing Allan in DMF any time soon, a much more of a luxury AMF player, i'm sure Iturra will have that position made as his this season. Didn't realise Douglas Santos was sold either, means Adnan/Marquinho will be given decent shots at LWB this season (provided they follow the 3-5-2 route). Surprising how little the youth is expected to step up for the season. Hallberg/Fernandes surely have to be in contention over the aging Pinzi (with Badu droping into DMF).

Are the most promising Primavera players not expected to make the step up this season?

    How's Armenankas doing?
