    ...really exploring both sides of the story.

    I've seen a lot more deliberate and obvious handballs. I would not give him 5 stars for that one

    At least it's only one of our players that's everything that's wrong with football, not the entire club.

    I don't think it was deliberate handball. It looked to me like he was waving to someone in the crowd when the ball bounced erratically off the turf and glanced off his head and on to his hand. A clear case of 'ball to hand' so I'm not sure what all the fuss is about

    It is clear to me that Doucouré tried to head the ball but to prevent his neck being broken in a head-on collision with the nasty goalkeeper (who had already tried to take out Okaka), he had his hand up to protect himself.
    The ball just happened to miss his head and hit his hand and bounced in.
    Not cheating, just self preservation and the ref missed it.
    Not Abdoulaye’s fault, the ref and linesman didn’t see it - just as they also didn’t see or want to see clear penalties in our favour etc.

    And what professional footballer is going to go to the ref and ask him to disallow the goal?
    Even Reading didn’t say anything for their ghost goal, and that was a clear example of how a team could have shown good sportsmanship and influenced the ref, or allowed a Watford walk in goal to make up for the cheating linesman who had a few grand with some eastern betting syndicate on the result*

    * joke, don’t sue me.

    It was hardly on a par with Maradona or Henry.

    The still images make the handball look worse than it was but you'd think Doucoure had picked the ball up and thrown it in the net the way some were going on!

    Were there calls for Wilson to be banned when he admitted conning the ref in the Bournemouth v West Ham game?

    Everyone just blamed the officials for not agreeing over the incident.

    There was a point in the game where our fans and players screamed for handball by one of their players in the box, the Saints fans did the usual ironic shouting of handball for a minute which, in the end, turned out to be quite ironic itself.
